  1. Last time we won away at Charlton when they were playing at Selhurst Park? 89/90? Did we also play them at Upton Park?
  2. Behave, he had a few months in a terrible Saints team playing in a position where he hardly saw of the ball. We've wasted plenty of money on players in recent times, some with much worse attitudes, in fact ABK would be much higher up the list of dislike
  3. Probably think Simon Rusk looks like a relation of his
  4. its an odd one with the financial fair play rules. Birmingham have wealthy owners who want to invest but not a big turnover as a business, whereas Wrexham actually have a big income due to Disney documentary that has millions of viewers and sponsorship deals that arise from that, having had three successive promotions they'll have to change a lot of the squad now
  5. Yeah they weren't great in a few I saw, but were well organised especially at the back , other than the Bristol City games their end of season form was poor
  6. Wrong, Sheffield United are relieved not to have to live through another season in the top flight that we've just had.
  7. Sack the board sack the board sack the board We want Sports Republic Out say we want Sports Republic Out
  8. E I E I E I O up the football league we go...
  9. I reckon Bree Stephens, Wood as centre backs, or maybe Aribo again with Bree and Wellington full backs First shot on target 72nd min
  10. I don't know how he can play his 5 at the back if not enough defenders are fit THB injured Janny B injured KWP AWOL I've heard ABK isn't interested again and won't feature
  11. It's very sad, it sounds like we also won't get to see KWP one more time and I've wasted my time making a Albert Grønbæk can I have your shirt sign https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/news/article/defensive-injury-doubts-ahead-of-arsenal-clash
  12. Very disappointing but not surprising considering Man City invest a crazy amount recruiting the best youth players
  13. They just seem to wriggle out of it every time so I'll believe it when I see it, but that would be great news, 12-15 point deduction would give us a chance of finishing above them for once
  14. I reckon the club are hoping the u21s win the cup tonight so they can send them on the pitch to parade it at the same time as the first team do their lap of appreciation
  15. I think it's only being streamed live if you are a paid subscriber though which is a load of bollocks and not fair for us who obviously wouldn't want to subscribe for such a thing
  16. U21s final away to Manchester City is tomorrow night, for any Northern based fans who can make it. Hopefully the game will be shown online https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/news/article/date-confirmed-for-under-21s-pl2-play-off-final
  17. David Brooks Joe Rothwell
  18. I agree with you, but hope he doesn't start talking about scar tissue
  19. Ah we're going to have fans in ginger wigs again aren't we, I'd forgotten about that in the Strachan days
  20. Wish Saints had fans like this , 3 mins on is absolutely hilarious
  21. To be honest Leicester could have had 10 point deduction this season and still finished above us so don't be complacent! The interesting ones will be Birmingham and Wrexham, if they spend big I think they'll be up there
  22. Is Arsenal Fan TV still a thing? Not seen those wallies for a while but used to come out with some comedy gold during the Wenger Out days, ya get me Robbie blud
  23. Point deduction would be next season which is much more useful
  24. The lack of strategy and leadership seems to be a common theme
  25. Brentford’s 3-2 home defeat to Fulham and Nottingham Forest’s 2-1 win away against West Ham United (pictured) on 18th May 2025 means that the top flight table now has four point gabs of double-figures; 12 points between first-placed Liverpool and second-placed Arsenal, 10 points behind seventh-placed Nottingham Forest and eighth-placed Brentford, 13 points between 17th-placed Tottenham Hotspur and 18th-placed Leicester City, and 10 points between 19th-placed Ipswich Town and 20th-placed Southampton. If the final table of the top flight season also includes four double-figure point gabs, then this will be the first time in league history. Previously, the 1994/95, 2009/10, 2019/20, 2020/21 and 2021/22 Premier League seasons all had a maximum of three double-figure point gaps. Just for the record, no final table at the second, third or fourth tier have ever consisted of more than two double-figure point gaps. The first time this happened was during the 1904/05 season of Division Two, where third-placed Manchester United finished 11 points ahead of fourth-placed Bristol City, while Burton United finished second-to-bottom 12 points ahead of bottom-placed Doncaster Rovers.
