Very frustrating game but didn't come as a surprise for anyone who had seen us struggling away this season against teams who sit deep, we've played Blackburn, Norwich, Oxford, WBA all similar performances I thought Matsuki and Charles particularly off the pace At least Bree and Downes avoided bookings

I expect we'll drop to 9th in the table tonight as Watford will beat Sheffield Wednesday, the Wrexham v Hull game will be interesting to watch whilst keeping a check on the Millwall v Derby game

I like this, hoping the majority of their squad are scattered across the globe during the international break where an escalation of ww3 sees all flights grounded and players stranded, we then beat Arsenal's kids and secure our path into a Wembley semi final appearance. Make it happen Don 👍

What's the story there? If Arsenal get through against Leverkusen are they guaranteed to be away first leg next round? Which would be a few days after this cup tie Plus most of their squad will be away for the international break Everything falling into place nicely YELLOWS

I thought that as well, always seems to be. Arsenal struggled at Mansfield on Saturday so there's always a bit of hope

Its annoying habit they seem to have, ticket office say they need to sell blocks in order decided by home club, which is fine, but as one block sells out they are so slow releasing the next (in this case last block sold out Friday afternoon, nothing new on sale until this morning)

My concern is i still haven't got over the Blackburn/ Norwich/ Oxford defeats who were all in a similar position to what WBA are in now, hopefully our tactics and confidence levels have evolved sufficiently since then

When they moved the away section I am sure the club said then that extended away allocations for cup games would go into the Kingsland so they'd get block 29 in addition to the usual , not sure how the segregate the seats / concourse though.

The way Frank Lampard was rattled at St Mary's i expect he'll carry on his antics on Saturday, he'll be desperate to get a win and wave his arms towards the away end

Went with low expectations, midday kick off on a Sunday thought it would be flat but where I was towards back left of away section it was excellent, no real complaints, didn't sing about libraries too much , general feelgood factor obviously helped by the performance

We definitely need to improve our finishing to get some of these away wins, Sheffield Wednesday and Fulham we got the job done despite missing several very good opportunities. There's more tickets on sale now for anyone who fancies going. First time an away game is digital tickets so don't need to wait for post it will just appear in your saints ticket app

Can watch that all day, it's a great away stand behind the goal, just such a shame I knew people who couldn't get tickets and empty blocks with 1200 seats just left that we could have sold, don't think Saints ever confirmed why we weren't allowed them

We haven't had them in a cup draw for a while so that would be nice

Superb all round wasn't it, enjoyed a few post match beers , everyone in excellent spirits enjoying themselves on cup away days, cant beat it, thought Saints were excellent today , so so many chances we deserved that at the end , players were absolutely buzzing coming over to away fans at the end

I remember going to Bolton 1992 in 5th round, took massive numbers, I was just a kid, remember two blokes walking around the terrace with bags full of cut up newspaper saying take handfuls to chuck in the air when the players run out, different era , no one begging Branfoot to play the kids in those days 😞
