  1. Makes me laugh when club leaked they had spoken to a few managers but none of them had impressed, setting up Tonda as the default choice when he was clearly Spors man all along. Run by a bunch of amateurs bluffing their way through it , surely behind closed doors they must be embarrassed by how insanely bad they are at their jobs
  2. And yet we kept being told what a big squad we have! But you are absolutely right and probably explains our horrendous 2nd half record, our substitutions benefit the opposition
  3. That's how I felt about Azaz, most frustrating player
  4. What's your secret mate? Still winds me up , I probably need to grow up and learn to not care so much
  5. Spors needs to be pushed in a proper interview why he ignored such glaring weaknesses in the squad , some of us made this point in the summer but plenty of gullible/ naive fans on here still called it a 8/10 window and "more than good enough for the championship "
  6. 100% that's the case. They know he has crisp packet hands and any shot on target statistically has a good chance of going in
  7. Is controlled the game by passing it around in our own half? Same old stupid tactics and same old stupid mistakes
  8. When everyone was saying give him the job after 4 wins I said does that mean he gets the sack if we lose 4? Ok we haven't done that but point stands, stupid appointment with no long term strategy He's got no experience as a manager and virtually no one with that alongside him, playing stupid football and being found out time and time again
  9. All true. Blackburn 2 v 1 Saints Norwich 2 v 1 Saints Oxford 2 v 1 Saints Pompey ? v ? Saints
  10. We've sold about 1700 out of the 3000 so far , not surprising considering amount of traveling We've got in a month
  11. The pre match coverage Saints say need to "manage" Fellows after his groin injury, early planning on having him on the bench and hoping to have him at Birmingham. I can't see us winning, a draw probably
  12. I remember being right down the front and it bloody pouring with rain , we always seem to take good support there
  13. The biggest concern of global warming for me is the lack of orange ball action we get to see in the modern era , always felt special when that came out
  14. All good ones. Yes beat Spurs but I think was New Years day then beat them again in fa cup few days later 2003? Beating Arsenal 4-0 Cucu Martina was brilliant 2015. Loved the Chelsea 3-1 Frankie Bennett, I need to check this but think we then played Man City away THE NEXT DAY and the buzz of the 3-1 win inspired us to travel up to Manchester next day for a Northern away game, pay on the gate, those really were the days
  15. Great find that mate. Love that era, absolutely zero glamour, Archers Road pens, oh Terry Hurlock, Iain Dowie football genius and no nonsense headbutts That all said, if we lose Friday I blame Ruddock
  16. I was just joking I doubt he'd remember a Saints player headbutting him 34 years ago and still want revenge
  17. He looks like Messi when dribbling with the ball
  18. I'm sure I remember him from Notts County, possibly a Neil Ruddock headbutt in 1990/91 season? He'll have a grudge against us
  19. Caretaker manager in for boxing day then, who knows what difference that will make , Craig Short rings a bell, played against us in the 90s?
  20. We haven't won away to Oxford for 50 years, not a good omen , I fancy this one to be 1-1 , Paul Moody to score for them
  21. Club hoping to get a record crowd in for the South Coast Derby vs Pompey on 10th Jan, but for some reason have moved it to be on same day as Doncaster away which immediately rules out some fans who will be at that https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/news/article/keep-hampshire-red-against-portsmouth-women-in-january
