I agree. Dont know much about current Watford side but they had some dangerous young players last season, that Australia International particularly (Irankunda) , they have another new manager i think so hard to know if much has changed. Looking at our first 7 fixtures we didnt win any of those equivalent games last season so as much as a winning start is important need to be realistic Last season Watford (a) draw Stoke (h) defeat Millwall (h) draw Birmingham (a) draw Lincoln (a) didn't play but similar to Oxford defeat Swansea (h) draw Bristol City (h) draw

Still a good deal for Fulham in my opinion

Club shop was busy yesterday afternoon, plenty of those new away kits being purchased, particularly kids sizes. Personally I think its a shame last seasons fa cup kit was only a limited edition pricey one that they never bothered to sell in kids sizes , would have been perfect as an away

Can see its sold out at some point over the last day, thats Colchester, Watford and Lincoln sold out so far. Quite a few left for Birmingham still on sale to members at the moment

I think we go strong tomorrow as squad preparation, but will then do our best to lose in the 2nd round with a team of u21s like the Leicester fa cup game last year

My kids like it as well

I notice Bristol City managed to get themselves knocked out at home to Walsall last night, we need to make it to at least the 3rd round for our annual game vs Liverpool

Apparently Phil Parsons will walk out at the fans forum wearing it as the reveal

How would they even know you're a Saints fan? Its not like you'd be walking down the street waving a picture of Matt Le Tissier above your head

Usual few hundred blocked off for corporate/ player comps / regional supporter groups

Why have different kits for mens and women's team? If all one club should wear the same kit, I dont think they will make that much extra income from it

I'll look forward to following his progress on Gazzetta on channel 4 every Sunday with James Richardson

So not surprisingly the bubble operation is set to stay for this season, only real change is each team will get 200 less tickets to allow for more segregation Not sure i can be bothered getting to St Mary's at 7am for Skates away again

Yep, another player like Fernandes who will go for even more in his career.

I think we'll miss him Contributed some key goals at key moments last season

I think Lincoln will sell out this week, lots of interest in it despite the early kick off. I was told one of the reasons we have extra midweek games is that Easter weekend has been claimed as an international break week so championship has to find a place in calendar for both those games, plus starting season a week later than usual condensed the season into fewer weeks. Norwich away on a Wednesday night feels like a thumbs down to me. I'm sure we've had midweek trips to WBA, Sheffield Utd and Stoke previously as well, tough journeys considering all midweek games are televised. Costs spiralling, just noticed its £50 for official coach travel to Lincoln , blimey.

I agree, there are plenty left for Birmingham away still on sale to season ticket holders with 4 aways at the mo, i reckon that will make any season ticket. Shame to have that as a midweek trip again.

Lincoln details out now, expect this will be the hardest away game to get this season, think it might be paper tickets https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/lincoln-city-vs-southampton-2627

Agree , certainly other teams in the league with higher budgets / expectations. A good start is so important , we didnt win any of the equivalent games against the first 7 fixtures so need to be realistic. West Ham will win the league, i reckon Norwich surprise (ish) in 2nd. Play offs a bit of a mess now going down to 8th. Always a surprise package who does well and a team you dont expect will be in bottom 3.

A few of our iconic kits were hated when first released but you still see them now with retro re-makes. Blue flame admiral, Dimplex Pony, i recall people hated the pink kit a couple of years ago but that ended up being a big seller so you never know.

A lot of that £5M will be add ons i reckon, especially with Ballard's injury record. He's a good player though if stays fit and certainly knows where the goal is.

Wrong I have it on good authority it was Barnaby Williams

Safe travels to those heading out to Germany this weekend, remember the Skates are out there as well so keep your wits about you on the ferries , trains and autobahns

I miss the good old days of the mid to late 90s where it was often pay on the day at the turnstiles and we'd have 500 spread out in the away end

Will be interesting to see, quite a few were blocked out for Birmingham as well. Looking at Skates ticket news for Lincoln, not only is allocation small, its also split between two stands?!
