  1. It's a fair observation, but they got rid of the manager responsible for most of that bad run, since Clement was appointed they have started to look better Lost one in last four. Last home game was a 3-1 win against QPR who currently sit above us in a play off spot.
  2. Just read we are 2nd highest scorers in the division, blimey (before this evenings games)
  3. Takes me back to the 93/94 season I think it was, super Ken Monkou , what a game
  4. Sounds like he should miss the game along with their other striker https://forum.pinkun.com/index.php?/topic/162566-kvistgaarden-injury/
  5. That's what I recall although can't be sure , they are doing their best to make all round experience as frustrating as possible
  6. Last few minutes crowd woke up a bit but for most of the 2nd half if felt like the crowd and players were just clock watching
  7. Not sure if the club have advised on parking , assume area around St Mary's will probably be ok in industrial estate etc?
  8. Norwich showing signs of improvement under the new boss, certainly not expecting the same scoreline as our Carabao cup fixture earlier this season Perhaps a 4-4 draw
  9. Shea Charles isn't far off from returning
  10. He looks like he has no intention of winning any 50/50s, just drifts around, don't understand him as he's a strong lad but has no desire to battle for the side
  11. Loving the run of wins but can Tonda please sort out these sloppy second halves , that was so complacent tonight but follows a pattern where we take our foot off the gas and fall apart a bit. Is it just subs or tactical ?
  12. It's Archers birthday today as well, back him to score when he comes on after 60 mins
  13. And appeared at the World Cup draw as a legend so nice recognition for him
  14. A few options would certainly have helped. Let's assume most of our fans don't live walking distance from St Mary's, and public transport is virtually non-existent that time on a Sunday, going to be a lot of taxis being booked to St Mary's first thing, don't think first bus where I live runs until 9am into town
  15. The early arrival at Fratton is a good point, I'm told when skates came to us in September they were allowed to buy beers and take them out into a fenced off area, apparently spent the most of any away following we've had so club were probably happy to take the £ Facilities aren't quite the same at Fratton, don't think they sold beer last time we went, not that I want to spend anything there
  16. "The club realises this may inconvenience some supporters, but it is necessary to ensure a safe and enjoyable matchday for all." I don't want it to be safe, half the fun of Pompey away is it isnt fucking safe , thats the bit we look forward to ffs
  17. Ha bit late in the day, I think they need to rethink pricing for these midweek games , particularly in winter, live on sky , non-season ticket holders just won't make the effort. Should have offered cheaper prices up front as now that will just annoy people who have already paid full price
  18. https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/news/article/ticket-and-travel-information-portsmouth-a All the details on here
  19. Honestly not sure I can be fucking bothered getting down to St Mary's at 7am on a sunday morning to sit on a bus , it's a joke
  20. Yes. Is this his first game on a windy day? That's the real test to see how he manages that
  21. Agree, plus hopefully a whole season without a win to take a nice unwanted record
  22. They do this stupid dynamic pricing, in club world cup last year they started giving tickets away to fill empty seats to try to make it look like a success in days running up to the game
  23. I don't understand it myself, a win for WBA puts them back above us in the league, it's hardly some crazy mis-match. Bookies have us at 4/5 to win seems about right.
  24. Remember these ties are decided on the day so extra time and penalties if required, need to factor that in when booking trains etc
  25. I think both times we played there were in the championship, on way down in 08/09 and on our way back in 11/12 , a young Billy Sharp impressed for them and signed for us shortly afterwards in Jan 2012 he's about to turn 40 years old and still scoring for them, hope he gets to play against us one more time
