Football Special

Agree, Archer has done enough in his career to show he can be a very good player at this level, just seems to have a chronic lack of confidence/ drive for most of his time with us. Hopefully someone can get his producing more

Aribo did his best to get himself a 3 match ban. Should have been a red for his pathetic attempt at a challenge

Well put. They must see something in him to think he's a genuine first team manager but it's a huge gamble. Winning 4 in a row was great, but what happens if we now lose 4 in a row? If the 4 wins got him the job do the 4 defeats get him sacked?

Lol what a shambles , it was Cov away wasn't it where he said to the undercover reporter he "tipped the ball into the net"

This is quite random, pre match in Northam fan zone get to see ex-Saint Bruce Grobbelaar https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/matchday-information-saints-vs-birmingham-city

Anyone see the game? Noticed they lost but would be interesting to hear about performance

I think Hull and Bristol City also showed a blueprint on how to pressure us into errors and physically dominate the game, Millwall did it well, funny enough conceded 3 in all of those , we really struggle against such opponents

Mate got one mid-afternoon , there was only 6 left then

Looks like Norwich away is sold out now, also Birmingham away on a Monday night to season ticket holders with 7 or 8 aways, surprised me that

Is Gav your Grandson ?

Yeah that doesn't make sense, he was already full time employee of the club surely that covers it

Live INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL returns to St Mary's this week. Tickets still on sale for England vs Ghana , should be guaranteed a few goals and a home win for the Lionnesses https://www.wembleystadium.com/tickets

You'd hope we'll address this in January, a decent loan perhaps, but SR have neglected key positions for years so doubt that will change

Ah right I lose track of these, that's s shame

Completely agree mate, said after the game it reminded me of Hull where they were stronger than us and we struggled to compete , players and manager need to be more streetwise

I agree and to be honest I've not been impressed with the fannying about in the 2nd half at Charlton and against Leicester, allowed ourselves to lose all intensity and show no ruthless streak at all and it felt that carried into today

Should have Scienza, Downes and perhaps even Charles back for it , another 3 game week so will need them all

Yep, no excuses, Millwall were the better side today Disappointing, but we all know the areas we lack strength in

We've had some great wins there, late goals as well with Fraser, I enjoyed the Lambert two pens , been a lucky ground in the past

Millwall reminiscing about our last league meeting, some classic Bazunu in this one

He is, just back from injury, came on and scored the winner on Wednesday against Wednesday

Don't forget the sun cream

They crack me up, just can't help themselves can they. "Chris Wilder was full of praise over the ‘passionate’ Pompey faithful who made the long-midweek trip to Bramall Lane." We took just over 2000 up there midweek , they won't like that.
