Football Special

Have you watched Sunderland much this season?

Not ITK but this is definitely a big opportunity to improve the access and make a proper route towards Kingsland/ Northam stand that can hold a lot more people With stadium expansion our crowds could grow to 40k + by 2030 and I expect access will be an issue for approval

I can see us losing those 3 games , hoping Romeu basically takes over giving out instructions to his team mates and at least Charlton will be missing James Bree

Of course the fan base can, rejecting one terrible option doesn't give the club a pass to appoint another terrible option. Sports Republic Out

Already made my Eckert Out banner

Promoted from league one?

Nice little boost for the net spend trophy

Did you not hear the songs at the game yesterday?

Could see him grow in confidence and looked comfortable on the ball, interesting story didn't know he'd had a bad car accident, is he a local lad?

Completely agree, is he in USA squad for this break? Could do with a change of scenery

I'm told Spors appeared out of the tunnel at the final whistle to go pitch side congratulating the players, unusual , perhaps he's been told to be more visible

I'd have liked to have seen him given the role as interim manager

Spors needs to explain why his decisions on these positions as he just looks completely incompetent for the role he is in to have ignored our weaknesses, also I'm delighted we're signing Romeu but the fact we need to do that in November with a free agent is because the squad building was inadequate in the summer

We just want a competent goal keeper who.can save shots and catch crosses, most of us know what that looks like and unfortunately for Gav he will never be it

I just can't understand it, he's been terrible since he's been here , remember the fans forum from August 2023 the point was made clearly that Bazunu isn't good enough, it's been obvious to fans for years but SR refuse to accept it

Table looking quite compact, we do need to use the next two weeks well though, international break then straight into a 3 game week with tough trips to Charlton and Millwall , Leicester at St Mary's in-between.

Can see Spors asking the Fans Advisory board to pick for him

I can't see it myself, got points but nothing to show he's a genuine long term manager , tactics were still all over the place today

And a gap above the Skates, we'll take that for some positivity 😇

All the usual problems were still there today, difference was Sheffield Wednesday were so poor and we had that touch of luck (what a finish by Jander for the first goal!) Very nice to see some goals and a winning feeling but if we're honest we look nowhere near a promotion team. I think Ipswich will go up with Coventry but play offs could be anyone's

Formation doesn't matter. As long as they have hungry eyes Eckert Out Sports Republic Out

It's what I've been told by a Wednesday fan, I expected them to bring more as well for a Saturday 3pm but apparently under 2k travelling

Having a small first team squad has been a blessing for Sheffield Wednesday as they've been able to field a settle starting XI and build consistency, however I hope today with three games in a week and long journey down that it's a game too far for them and we can take advantage

Sheffield wednesday bringing about 1900 today. About 1000 more than Preston did
