  1. Saw a good video the other day from a Ring doorbell, Reform candidate steps up to the front door, presses the button and says “I’d like to talk about why you should vote Reform” Home owner replies “I’d rather wank with a razor”. 🤣 The problem with Reform becoming a party over the last few years is that it’s divided the racists. At least the whole rotten barrel used to be in one party.
  2. Probably the closest he’s come to laying a hand on anything
  3. Howling 🤣🤣
  4. I’d rather do Fantasy Championship first. 😅
  5. In a weeks time we could be going “how the fuck have we finished second”! Equally we could be going “I can’t believe we lost our last two games”. Fine margins.
  6. Speaking of which, DT has been awfully quiet for a couple of months now since we went on the unbeaten streak. 😅 Gavin Bazunu didn’t make the squad yesterday, guessing Stoke have seen enough 🤣
  7. Ipswich win and they’re effectively promoted. Draw means it’s anyone’s guess between three teams on the final day. A Saints win puts us in the mix with the other three on the last day.
  8. It’s amazing how downbeat everyone is on this thread now. Yes it currently is a very long shot. BUT if we beat Ipswich on Tuesday then the final game of the season suddenly becomes 2nd to 5th - 80 points, 80 points, 79 points, 79 points. That is incredible going into the final game of the season. Four teams competing for one spot. Millwall v Oxford, Ipswich v QPR, play-off chasing Wrexham v Middlesbrough and Preston v Saints. Stranger things have happened. Teams drop points every day. It’s game on!
  9. I think that’s my biggest concern. Ultimately, Tonda is under contract for another year so it would take a big pay off I’m sure now for him to be prised away. One thing is for sure, if we don’t go up Taylor Harwood-Bellis won’t be here, probably the same for Flynn Downes, Casper Jander, Shea Charles. I wouldn’t see us signing Cyle Larin or Daniel Peretz permanently. If we beat Ipswich then it is there to be an upset. I personally don’t see it, but I think psychologically you have to go into the playoffs knowing you’ve done all you can rather than bottled autos with a week to go.
  10. Very unlikely three teams would drop points and we’d better results on the final day - but football throws up all sorts of drama!
  11. Just watched this, mad finish! There’s loads of videos on social media of fan reactions from the stands as it unfolded
  12. I don’t think he’ll be offered a new deal until the summer, I’m sure he’ll be offered one, but it’ll be interesting how things work with transfer this summer if we don’t go up.
  13. Ipswich have looked very average all season, I’m sure they’ll turn up on Tuesday - but they’ve been largely poor. We just need to not become complacent.
  14. We go again! I wonder how leggy we’ll be after today’s game…
  15. Phenomenal support
  16. A bit like Gabriel for Ars…. Oh yeah, never mind.
  17. I think we’re all but out of the autos, we certainly will be come 17:00. It’ll simply be a case of hoping too many things going our favour. We need to just do our utmost to finish third in order to get the home second leg draw - more than likely against one of Hull, Wrexham or Derby. Regardless of where we finish what a phenomenal achievement to even be within the chance of the autos at this stage, given where we were when Tons started and even after the dodgy Christmas spell.
  18. Prediction: 2-1 to Man City Definitely a backs to the wall performance from us relying on counter attacks, although I have a feeling City are more reactive to a counter attack than Arsenal were. Peretz; Bree, Harwood-Bellis, Wood, Welington; Bragg, Jander, Azaz; Fellows, Stewart, Scienza - is my prediction, but deep down I’d rather see Larin and Stephens playing.
  19. It’s amazing how one point really makes such a difference from “ITS OVER” to “ITS ON LADS” 🤣
  20. It was gone after we drew with Bristol City
  21. His career at Saints is done. He’ll be back for pre-season but I’m sure he’ll be shipped out on loan (because no one will buy him) just as the new season gets underway.
  22. I’d argue it’s reassuring. She won’t let someone tarnish her fathers legacy, or certainly what he saved and helped build.
  23. Reckon this is to try and get more of a bridge between fans and ownership? First Matt Le Tissier, now Katarina Liebherr. Is Sammy Lee available?
  24. To further add to this, Flynn Downes now given a retrospective ban by the FA even though he was booked at the time, by the laws of the game that should be it. The FA pulling out all the stops to make sure that City win.
