Anyone got a summary of today’s presser?

Premier League are suggesting it should be twelve points.

It’s a daft rule, but you can’t change it mid-season. Cup-tied players I used to understand, but nowadays it’s pointless because the game relies so heavily on player trading. I still think it’s wrong that we don’t have cup replays when smaller teams rely so heavily on the ticket and TV revenue, purely because it inconveniences the bigger teams and their hectic schedule. The irony is there isn’t much difference in terms of games played, especially when you get the likes of Newcastle and Tottenham that bigger overseas for a pointless friendly. Even their players must find it ridiculous.

Got to laugh at Chelsea. First half of Arsenal v Chelsea was long, drab and dull. They’re being skated for playing the least attacking game ever. They spent the six minutes of second half stoppage time walking it to the edge of the Arsenal penalty area, and passing back to their centre backs. Then Arsenal countered and scored a solitary goal. If that is Rosenior’s normal tactics then my god, that was a hard watch and good luck to Chelsea. Who on here wanted him as manager? 👀 Passing it around almost as much as Russell Martin teams. 😂😂

I think most would take James Ward-Prowse back. I don’t think he will return now unless he becomes a Romeu style signing in years to come. I’d rather have a player of his experience and love for the club than Joe Aribo. 😂 We’d be lucky to have him back.

I’ve only read one other person suggest that on this forum. Never in any other news outlet or social media. IF that was the case then good riddance and goodbye. Personally I don’t think that’s the case. But the other side is he was a decent striker at this level, very adaptable across the front three, scored some exceptionally key goals for us two years ago, and never kicked up a fuss publicly like some of our players have. The hype this guy got a year ago by some fans; he should never have been near the first team. He wanted out as soon as we were relegated, he never deserved to be given a second chance after we got promoted. Horrific attitude. Good riddance.

What a club we’ve become. 😂 Selling your top scorer mid season. One thing I will commend the club for is for shifting on Armel Bella-Kotchap, one of the worst attitude players I’ve known; Joe Aribo, if we can add Sam Edozie then fair play.

I wonder what will happen with Sam Edozie. Such a waste of talent, and space.

I would like to see Cameron Archer be given a run of games now over Cyle Larin.

As much as I’d like to disagree I think this is spot on. You play to the immediate crowd. He makes himself look an absolute plum though as time has gone on and Southampton have declined.

Rumoured that Juan, who we loaned and sold to Goztepe, is set to be sold on to Lille - £20M. Haha. We’re effectively Goztepe’s feeder club. They’re the big dog in this multi-club model. What a benefit! What a privilege! 🤣

It’s the Sport Republic model. As long as we’re trading players it doesn’t matter what league we’re in, the model works!! We have utter clowns running the show. Sell yours and the leagues top scorer mid season when you’re “aiming for promotion”. Make it make sense.
