  1. ThE bOoKiEs KnOw SoMeThInG wE dOn’t!!!! 😂 Odds will fluctuate daily.
  2. FootyInsider on Twitter just said Southampton are advancing in talks for GON. Take it with a pinch of salt as that account regularly spouts utter bollocks. 😂
  3. Brendan Rodgers seems the most desirable out of those supposed final four
  4. We’re seven points off the play-offs and eleven off the autos, with ninety-three points still to play for. A good manager will kick us on.
  5. Gary O’Neill has done nothing notable at any club he’s managed. He sparked a brief upturn in form and that quickly went to shit. May as well being in Steve Claridge as his assistant. He is NOT what we’re looking for. There aren’t that many great and available options out there.
  6. I think in the worst signings that must cover the bracket of poor ability, or simply didn’t play so weren’t good value for money? Chuck Kamaldeen Sulemana on there too.
  7. Ironically I think everyone could/can see this coming…
  8. Carlos Coberan has always struck me as someone that gets a bounce and then it dies off quickly. Followed his progress loosely, can’t say I’m particularly enamoured by his managerial career so far. Ok football at times but doesn’t strike me as right for us. Alfie House is right in that the two wins gives some breathing room to the board, I just have every faith in almighty board to drag this out further and then make the wrong appointment. We can see from a mile off it’ll be Tonda Eckhart. This squad needs discipline and authority, so that that rules on Brendan Rodgers straight away. They’ll want a yes-man.
  9. If Pilchards is ITK then I’m intrigued as to who the other three are? Presumably Gary O’Neill was one, so the other two? 👀😅
  10. Playing with four at the back and having that extra attacking player we should’ve easily scored another two or three minimum. Mad that we played with a back five against bottom of the league.
  11. It just means loads of people have put money on it. Not that Mr Coral or Mr Betfred know what’s happening. 😂
  12. Was sat in the Northam today, this was ringing a couple of times and for minutes on both occasions. I suppose that narrows down to Eckhart’s appointment. 😂
  13. My thoughts having gone today is that it was a better performance than QPR midweek, but it was a very low bar, and Sheffield Wednesday were extremely poor, yet somehow we still allowed them to cause the occasionally problem and conceded on the back of some pathetic passing out from the back and simply not wanting the ball more than the other man. I wouldn’t say anyone had a particularly bad game, all I’ll say is those that came on as subs (apart from Williams) were very ineffective. We didn’t really bother trying for the last thirty minutes, and if we carried on with the same intensity we could’ve scored a few more. The five at the back still frustrates me immensely, all we gain by playing a back five is that we make that one extra pass across defence every time the ball is at the back. We could’ve taken them to the cleaners today. I noticed a number of times today Armstrong and Scienza pointing down the channels for a through ball and every time there was an opportunity we opted for another sideways pass. They were getting very frustrated. Scienza was excellent, we may as well enjoy him while he’s here. Fellows was good when he got forward, which again begs the question, why isn’t he allowed to play in his favoured position? Nice to have two wins in two games, but let’s not gloss over again that midweek was a poor performance, there is more that can come out this squad and it is not a formation that is designed for getting a team to attack and try and get promoted. Yet somehow I still imagine Eckhart has made a claim to be kept on after this.
  14. BREAKING: I’ve had it on good authority that a figure has been seen leaving alongside Johannes Spors and Rasmus Ankersen from a London restaurant on Thursday. Sources say he was wearing a bow tie and had yellow dots all over his clothes.
  15. I’m very confident they wouldn’t be conducting the interviews at Staplewood. 😂
  16. That I could get behind. He wouldn’t take any shit and he’d be a bit of a pull for incoming players.
  17. Let’s be polite about Rasmus, he’s like one of those turds that just won’t flush.
  18. If GON is appointed, despite what some say on on here the fan backlash will be monumental as a whole. You'd have to be downright stupid to make that appointment. Enter Sport Republic.
  19. I think hiring Gary O’Neill is a massive f*** you to the fans. Yes, he’s done nothing wrong towards Saints, and no I’m not that bothered; but it’s just wrong. He will have no honeymoon period if he becomes or new manager, and it’ll divide the fans further and divide the fans and the owners more than it currently is.
  20. I don’t buy the “he’s interim manager, he’s hardly going to change tactics”. It’s not difficult to say to the players we’re setting up in this formation, you have license to get forward, you need to cover these areas etc. Give the players some freedom. We might win 6-0 by playing players in the right position and in an attacking formation, but we don’t know because we’re to bloody scared to try.
  21. Agreed, I see this happening
  22. Sheffield Wednesday might be suffering, but these past ten days will have given them a new lease of life. They won’t go down without a fight. 1-1 I reckon
  23. I haven’t watched the above video, but the vibe I’ve always got about Michael Carrick is “dull”, “boring”, “sideways football” etc. I could be completely wrong but he just strikes me as a safe option without any particular expectation going up or down.
