  1. I think the biggest issue is we have no idea when information will be released, or statements will be made. I don’t see an end to all this at the moment, and the other side of it is we need to start planning for next season. Current players, recruitment, sponsors, …coaching team seemingly too, perhaps… 🤷🏻‍♂️
  2. Oh to be a fly on the wall 😂
  3. All the ITKs have gone quiet
  4. Harry Maguire, Morgan Gibbs-White and Luke Shaw not going is a mental decision. Adam Wharton probably too. Especially when you look at those that got in. None Madueke, hasn’t he scored something like 18 goals less than Jarrod Bowen for example? If Dan Burn was 6”1” he wouldn’t be in the squad. Cole Palmer, poor season. Trent Alexander-Arnold, can’t defend. They aren’t big deals. Jordan Henderson wasting a place in the squad to be a glorified coach. Explain. I think we’ll go out in the quarter-finals.
  5. There’s a lot of players commenting on his post, Ryan Bertrand full of praise for him!
  6. And Simon Peach is a Saints fan, and having followed him since maybe 2012 has always been very defensive of the club. I thought what he said made for uncomfortable listening. He obviously knows a thing or two.
  7. Fair enough, wasn’t aware of a lot of the above. I am concerned about the “retaining of Tonda Eckhert as coach”. What he still did was wrong, and how he’s treated some people at the club - the analysts involved is quite simply not on. Listening to Simon Peach (PA) on Saints Social (BBC) he says there still quite a lot of pretty damning stories to come when the full reports are released later in the summer.
  8. Anyone got a link? And does he want to come now?
  9. Superb career! Great bloke! All the time in the world for him, professional from the start. Wish him all the best in his retirement.
  10. And what will come of that? Absolutely nothing. What are we actually appealing now? The season is over so the only thing it can be is the points deduction, which is just prolonging the inevitable, the club need to just move on.
  11. But haven’t you heard? We are benefits of a multi-club model set up! We should be over the moon and forever grateful!
  12. It isn’t difficult to get fans onside. Reduction in ticket prices will get bums on seats. They’ll then spend their money on shit in the concourses and club shop. Money made back comfortably. All that said, it’s already been proven that fans at the higher level are totally irrelevant to a clubs survival. So why charge stupid prices in the first place?
  13. Last minute vs Wrexham Stewart double at Sheffield United Last minute v Swansea And that last two months of Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday. It felt like we would’ve been set to go up. Such a shame how it came crashing down.
  14. Well a week ago I don’t think we’d ever have envisioned him still being here now
  15. Not sure how accurate this is, but I’ve read somewhere that Burnley getting relegated has got them more money than Inter Milan winning Serie A. Mental if true.
  16. They’re probably on holiday 😂
  17. Or be spotted carrying any form of phone 😂
  18. Goal of the Season: Shea Charles - any one of the three
  19. If we keep him we have to win the league. Back with a vengeance etc No exceptions. Only then will people be happy 👍🏻
  20. Chilled on Sunday, mind
  21. Ugly Inside Enough said. 😂
  22. Exactly this, it’s pretty much been tumbleweed
  23. Largely agree, I’d be baffled though if he still had the support of the dressing room.
  24. Unconfirmed rumour but a mate of mine told me now that there are more Turkish barbers in Southampton than there are seats at St Mary’s. 🤷🏻‍♂️
