Adam Armstrong would be an asset to any team in the Championship, his record speaks for itself. He isn’t getting a Premier League gig so it’s either sell abroad or sell to a rival, and I imagine his wages are very high, so would rather utilise him than not at all

I do find it funny those that are saying “Yeah go on then, let’s have the Saudi guy”. Sport Republic, namely Dragan Solak has had no problem putting his hand in his pocket. He has spent over £250m and invested significantly in other areas too. He’s recently reinstated he is here for the long haul. The issue has been that the numpties in the group (Ankerson, Kraft etc) had no footballing knowledge and hired nobody with experience. Dragan has pushed them to the side and suddenly we have a technical director with experience, an up and coming head coach, and also a widely redeveloped scouting network. There is no gain in changing ownership now. Nor do I think Will Still still would’ve come here had there been.

I don’t think there’s much in this Saudi talk, Simon Jordan loves filling up a segment talking about Saints recently, with no real source other than his mouth - which spouts off at all times with a variety of nonsense.

It’s amusing seeing people on social media think we’ll get £10m for Onuachu or Sulemana, or £50m for Fernandes. 😂 The high earners will be let go for free, just get them off the books.

Villa didn’t turn up at Old Trafford today, there’s a few games where they’ve dropped points when they shouldn’t have. It doesn’t justify the error but I always find it funny how karma comes around. See Villa staying up over Sheffield United a few years back. Also is Emi Martinez, albeit a decent keeper, also equally overrated?

I don’t disagree with the above, I stopped going way earlier in the season, probably haven’t clapped since the play off final last season. They're all multi millionaires doing a job that doesn’t matter, and this season is only be happy to see one or two stick around.

The Premier League has been dull for years. I’ve watched very little this season, maybe it’s because I’m a year older and other things in my life take priority or maybe it’s because it is unbearably boring. Oh yes, it’s because it’s unbearably boring. 😁

I hope Will Still removes captaincy, but I doubt it.

Bazunu would be fine for the Championship, not spectacular, but good enough, more so with a good back four in front of him.

It’s going to be spicy next season, look at some of those teams. We need some solid players and quickly this summer.

Some times if you’re looking to stamp your authority it is best to bring your own team in and remove “club legends” or former players so to speak. Lallana would be good for the academy, I struggle to see or know what he has done to contribute to the first team, whether it be coaching or playing this season.

Bella-Kotchap is going to be linked with every German club going. It’s agent talk, but also probably the most likely. I imagine he’s on the “get rid at all costs” list 🤣

Kind of looking forward to seeing some of the Russell Martin fan-boy players leave this summer.

I’ve said for the last week or so he strikes me as the kind of person everyone was a little apprehensive of at first (due to experience); but if you saw him going to Leicester or another top end Championship club you’d be saying “smart move”. He comes across very well, seems tactically flexible, and seems to have a good record working with young players. We need a blend of experience as well as youth in the squad for this season. I’m certainly more excited by this appointment than not. Some will be disappointed that the Lord and saviour Danny Rohl hasn’t come - but he clearly thinks he is bigger than he is already. Very excited to see what the summer holds, hopefully a major clearout, but by getting him in the door early hopefully it means better preparation and a better season.

There are some on here that are probably still not over Danny Rohl not coming - if he didn’t want to come or was waiting for a better offer, then he was never the man of us. Simple as. Move on. 😂😂
