  1. I honestly wouldn’t want any of their squad. Monga is ok but overrated because he’s English and young. If he was from anywhere else he’d be worth a fraction of what they’re currently valuing him at. Leicester are in the position where they need cash flow and will need to accept money coming in sooner than later. They might be forced to sell some or even given some players away to get them off the books.
  2. I would hope that he doesn’t leave, I doubt he will, but you never know peoples true intentions with these things. To some extent I’d say it says more about Sport Republic than the individual given the turnover of personnel in various positions. I do think that Spors and Eckhart come as a package, if one stays I think the other will etc.
  3. Signings, fine. But he still hired Will Still. Very much reserving judgement.
  4. Leicester are an absolute basket case. They deserve a basket case manager 😂
  5. You could pick so many players now for a number of reasons. Or certainly players that have made valuable contributions. Daniel Peretz - a goalkeeper that has an ability to use his hands, he’s transformed us at the back. Taylor Harwood-Bellis - he’s come on leaps and bounds this season, always a decent player but he’s stepped up that leadership style this season, no berating, just passion and encouragement. Ryan Manning - fair play to him, he’s learned how to defend again in a back four and contributed with goals and assists. Flynn Downes - certainly since Christmas there’s been a consistency around how we’ve played and a tenacity in the centre of the pitch. Leo Scienza - all that flair, definitely someone we should enjoy having while we can. Some notable mentions for James Bree, Cyle Larin Finn Azaz and Ross Stewart for their contributions.
  6. There’s a Wetherspoons that’s just gone into Whiteley, I did suggest it as an alternative date night and Mrs Willo did not approve of that idea. 😂
  7. Leeds did Leeds things and chose not to win at Wembley, again 😅
  8. Wifey only fills her car up by made a quarter each time (because she works from home), so every time we use hers to go out she has to top it up another half litre. Just fill it to the brim and save the trip to Tesco for once! It’ll still be in there in a couple of months time!
  9. Insights and tips: - Don’t get an upgrade on your phone, I still have the same one for six years and it still works fine, no contract. - Only buy clothes you need it rather than want it - this applies to most things in married life but the gulf in difference between male and female view on this is seismic. - Make a meal plan, stop buying shit you won’t eat or has a crap date.
  10. Saw a good video the other day from a Ring doorbell, Reform candidate steps up to the front door, presses the button and says “I’d like to talk about why you should vote Reform” Home owner replies “I’d rather wank with a razor”. 🤣 The problem with Reform becoming a party over the last few years is that it’s divided the racists. At least the whole rotten barrel used to be in one party.
  11. Probably the closest he’s come to laying a hand on anything
  12. Howling 🤣🤣
  13. I’d rather do Fantasy Championship first. 😅
  14. In a weeks time we could be going “how the fuck have we finished second”! Equally we could be going “I can’t believe we lost our last two games”. Fine margins.
  15. Speaking of which, DT has been awfully quiet for a couple of months now since we went on the unbeaten streak. 😅 Gavin Bazunu didn’t make the squad yesterday, guessing Stoke have seen enough 🤣
  16. Ipswich win and they’re effectively promoted. Draw means it’s anyone’s guess between three teams on the final day. A Saints win puts us in the mix with the other three on the last day.
  17. It’s amazing how downbeat everyone is on this thread now. Yes it currently is a very long shot. BUT if we beat Ipswich on Tuesday then the final game of the season suddenly becomes 2nd to 5th - 80 points, 80 points, 79 points, 79 points. That is incredible going into the final game of the season. Four teams competing for one spot. Millwall v Oxford, Ipswich v QPR, play-off chasing Wrexham v Middlesbrough and Preston v Saints. Stranger things have happened. Teams drop points every day. It’s game on!
  18. I think that’s my biggest concern. Ultimately, Tonda is under contract for another year so it would take a big pay off I’m sure now for him to be prised away. One thing is for sure, if we don’t go up Taylor Harwood-Bellis won’t be here, probably the same for Flynn Downes, Casper Jander, Shea Charles. I wouldn’t see us signing Cyle Larin or Daniel Peretz permanently. If we beat Ipswich then it is there to be an upset. I personally don’t see it, but I think psychologically you have to go into the playoffs knowing you’ve done all you can rather than bottled autos with a week to go.
  19. Very unlikely three teams would drop points and we’d better results on the final day - but football throws up all sorts of drama!
  20. Just watched this, mad finish! There’s loads of videos on social media of fan reactions from the stands as it unfolded
  21. I don’t think he’ll be offered a new deal until the summer, I’m sure he’ll be offered one, but it’ll be interesting how things work with transfer this summer if we don’t go up.
  22. Ipswich have looked very average all season, I’m sure they’ll turn up on Tuesday - but they’ve been largely poor. We just need to not become complacent.
  23. We go again! I wonder how leggy we’ll be after today’s game…
  24. Phenomenal support
