  1. Bella-Kotchap is going to be linked with every German club going. It’s agent talk, but also probably the most likely. I imagine he’s on the “get rid at all costs” list 🤣
  2. Kind of looking forward to seeing some of the Russell Martin fan-boy players leave this summer.
  3. I’ve said for the last week or so he strikes me as the kind of person everyone was a little apprehensive of at first (due to experience); but if you saw him going to Leicester or another top end Championship club you’d be saying “smart move”. He comes across very well, seems tactically flexible, and seems to have a good record working with young players. We need a blend of experience as well as youth in the squad for this season. I’m certainly more excited by this appointment than not. Some will be disappointed that the Lord and saviour Danny Rohl hasn’t come - but he clearly thinks he is bigger than he is already. Very excited to see what the summer holds, hopefully a major clearout, but by getting him in the door early hopefully it means better preparation and a better season.
  4. There are some on here that are probably still not over Danny Rohl not coming - if he didn’t want to come or was waiting for a better offer, then he was never the man of us. Simple as. Move on. 😂😂
  5. Bigger club doesn’t mean better team. (See Manchester United).
  6. Can I argue that the Championship is bigger than Ligue 1. It’s a one horse race.
  7. Russell Martin the Sky guest at Wembley today. Is he still sniffing for jobs or was the Leicester one confirmed?
  8. I did call a couple of days ago that the deal was “Still on” 😆
  9. Fabrizio the fraud always late
  10. There’s loads of British players abroad that would probably play for Saints too. The club is more appealing to some than we probably think, hopefully with the right manager it will appeal more.
  11. Johansson (Stoke) Woodman (out of contract Preston) Lamptey (out of contract Brighton) or Aarons (Bournemouth) Burrows (Sheffield United) Mumba (Plymouth) Neil (Sunderland) Sainz (Norwich) Sargent (Norwich) Rak-Sakyi (Crystal Palace) Ferguson (Brighton) There’s some decent players out there going out of contract that could be useful. Also there’s some that could be available on loan or for a smaller fee. I’m sure we won’t be poaching from potential promotion rivals but definitely on the lower end of the Championship or fringe Premier League they’ll be a few that appeal.
  12. I’d be pretty confident in Taylor leaving, that said I think he’d be an effective left-sided CB. He’s not had a great experience with the club.
  13. There are some miserable posters on here. 😂 Anyone think it might be a good idea to just get behind the manager, be a bit excited. You can’t fault Dragan since he took back some control and ushered people to the sides. New technical director. New scouts and scouting network being built. No needless overspending midway through last season. Identity of how the TD sees the squad playing. Helps narrow down managerial appointments and players signings. Confirmed to be having a clear out of the deadwood - and there’s a lot of it! There seems to be a plan happening.
  14. Make it a point per million you’re overspent.
  15. Tottenham to be knocked out the first stage of the CL next season. Man United to overspend on shite and still somehow evade FFP regulations.
  16. I Will let you know if I hear anything 😆
  17. The deal is Still very much on. 👍🏻
  18. Leicester could’ve done with a manager like Steve Cooper. Someone that can operate on a tight budget and knows how to get teams out of the Championship. Haha! 😂
  19. I’ve some on social media saying “well that’s Downes gone”, “well that’s Stephens gone” etc In a nutshell, is that a bad thing? I also doubt they’re spending any money this window. 🤣
  20. Can’t believe I forgot to add RM to Leicester 🤣
  21. Russell Martin going to Leicester was entirely predictable
  22. Don’t entirely disagree with the point. But equally I think Will Still is the kind of manager where if he went to another club you’d be thinking “smart move”. It looks like we’re getting him, time to back him. Ultimately the manager will fail with these players still at the club, I’d be more concerned with transfers.
  23. Has anyone checked in on DT? Is he still upset we didn’t pay up £3m for Danny Rohl - the coach who seemingly wasn’t interested?
  24. But arguing over £3m for Danny Rohl isn’t that big a deal. I’m not saying he’s bad, but he’s certainly not as good as some make out. Plenty of managers out there, as long as they’re the right one for us to push for the title I’m not bothered.
