Where is the “bad apple” vibe coming from? I have mentioned it before, but nowhere has he kicked up a fuss about wanting to leave or throwing his toys out the pram. If he wants to go he can go, but only for the right price and if we have a replacement, and as we don’t then I can only see us going one way, and it isn’t forwards (or sideways 😂).

Will be very astounded if we sell Adam Armstrong this January, however, by the sounds of it, it looks all but done. It says a lot about: - a player that’s moving to a team that is almost certain to be relegated. - a football club that hasn’t a clue what its policy is in the transfer market. (It’s suggested we haven’t got anyone lined up). - a football club that is clearly not going for promotion.

We’ll get more for him in the summer. He’s not a terrible defender, still a fair bit to learn, but considering the shot he’s had to play alongside in recent times he’s been ok. The bit I thought he needed to improve on was his “leadership”, so not berate your teammates when a mistake is clearly on you, don’t let your head drop. Be more commanding and rousing to the team, a motivational type. That said we’ve certainly seen that in the last few games.

I think there’s more of a bond between these two than there was Adam and Dave. Jo Tessem took me a while to like but in terms of his and Adam Blackmore’s analysis they’ve been spot on for the last few years. They’ve said very much what the fans think the entire time. Not really sure why Adam Blackmore, or on a side note Alfie House gets a bad press, they’ve been scathing of Sport Republic and the team on their respective podcasts for a long, long time.
