Apologies if I posted this before but I wouldn’t mind seeing some players like this: GK: Carl Rushworth - after first team football away from Brighton Viktor Johansson - can do way better than Stoke, pretty sure he’s one POTS for the last two seasons DEF: Max Aarons - seemingly surplus to requirements at Bournemouth Ashley Phillips - young CB, good season on loan at Stoke from Spurs Andre Garcia - young promising left back at Reading Harrison Burrows - never gonna happen but a good solid full back nonetheless MID: Lennon Miller - we’ve been linked many times before, lots of promise Jesuren Rak-Sakyi - tricky winger with previous Championship loan spells, rumoured to have been interested previously ATT: Evan Ferguson - not currently wanted at Brighton, lots of promise, likely to be a loan Marc Guiu - maybe a cheeky loan I’d like to see us go after players that will be good Championship signings. I can’t imagine many have heard of Quarshie until we signed him or that American lad playing in Germany until the other day. I think the fanbase needs to be instilled with confidence rather than trying to be clever with untried teenagers.

A bit like Max Alleyne to Man City a few years ago then. Ive never actually hear of this kid going to Man United, nor do I imagine many have on here. People forget he is 15/16 years old, there’s on a very select few that go on to make it higher up after signing for bigger teams at a young age. Some never fulfill their potential. See Jimmy-Jay Morgan who wanted £10K supposedly at the age of 17 to stay at Saints and is now plying his trade in constant loans in League 2. 😂

I think it depends what route we go down. We could go down the route of buying established Championship or bit-part Premier League players. Or we could be going after really obscure foreign players.

Happy for all but three of the squad to be sold (Ramsdale, Fernandes & Dibling) but know full well at least one of them will be going. Would like to see us linked with the following: - GK: Carl Rushworth (Brighton), Freddie Woodman (Preston, Viktor Johansson (Stoke) - DEF: Max Aarons (Bournemouth), Ashley Phillips (Spurs), Bed Godfrey (Atalanta), - MID: Jeusren Rak-Sakyi (Crystal Palace), Lennon Miller (Motherwell), Jonathan Rowe (Norwich), Borja Sainz (Norwich) - ST: Evan Ferguson (Brighton), Jack Sargeant (Norwich) I am by no means saying we’re going to get these players but there is a blend of experience and youth in there. I think we should be looking at British players based abroad too, there is a wealth of players overseas at the moment that I think would be tempted by a return to the UK and could do a job for us: Demari Gray (Saudi Pro League), Josh Doig (Serie A), Charlie Cresswell (Ligue 1) etc

You really need to move on, as does anyone who still misses him. He was a bit part player in the four months he was in the Championship, and he was just the best of a bad bunch when we were relegated from the Premier League. In the grand scheme of things he didn’t do anything significant.

Probably missed the Arsenal game so he could bomb it to Heathrow to catch his flight to Bali after the lap of dishonour 😂 He’s been decent at times this season, more so under Martin, but he has been absent since then. He’s just been one of the brighter sparks in what has been a horrific season. Lots to learn and if he sticks around he could be prolific next season.
