Mark Chapman is probably the best out there currently. David Prutton could go far, but unfortunately he isn’t a big enough name for Sky to have hosting the Premier League. Half expect them to call on Joey Barton ahead of David Prutton. 😂
-
As crap as Alex McCarthy is I’d rather we got a couple of wingers and a midfielder in as a matter of urgency.
-
I find it baffling that Bella-Kotchap is still a Southampton player after all these years. Then I remember his attitude, and his inability to play football or be physical, and then I realise why no one would take him. 🤣
-
Yes, responding to another poster about a Sky pundit and talking about the old days is very weird 🤷🏻♂️🙄
-
This entirely. There’s more to life than watching wealthy former footballers of varying ability discuss the same topics and teams over and over again.
-
What a weird thing to say 😂

I would be fixated to the TV for the whole of Saturday afternoon. Soccer Saturday, flicking between that and the BT lunchtime game. The Premier League is just extremely boring now. It’s tedious. And unfortunately the public lap up all the shit that is shelled out by Sky. They make it all a big drama, entertainment, must-watch etc. But it’s the same thing over and over again. This is probably the easiest it has been to do accumulators in years.
-
Because it was like that for probably the last decade? I’m assuming over one summer and a couple of matches it hasn’t changed that. Your response would imply it hasn’t 😅
-
Our squad does look stronger by the game, and we haven’t even played particularly well. No one is lighting up the league, or certainly no one you’d have expected to.

Sky is terrible. I’m amazed it’s not discussed in the media more. Gary Neville talks over the same stuff year after year about Man United, he’s not wrong, but it’s beyond boring now. Jamie Carragher, Liverpool through and through, clear and obvious, will be the first to jump to their defence but be the first to attack another team even if Liverpool did the same thing. He fawns over the same shit. Salah could score a tap in and score one goal all season and Haaland could score a goal a game and at the end of the season he’d still pick Salah because of his “technique” or “composure”. Jamie Redknapp, how is he employed? I mean seriously? I say that with no bias, he just talks bollocks. The Soccer Saturday pundits are no better. I’ve seen journos produce better tactical insight. I’m so glad I don’t watch the Premier League anymore.

Shall we try and poach some Stoke, Middlesbrough and West Brom players for the moment? 😅

Five goals for Cov, no goals or assists in a very makeshift Derby team.

Ruben Selles masterclass continues

Birmingham are going to be insufferable this season 🙄

Jack Rudoni has done a lot for Coventry today. 😂

I can only presume you didn’t watch it because you were too busy looking for grammatical errors on this forum. But Ipswich spent a lot of time on the ground last week. I’m sure they did speed up a little after going behind. However, they were still incredibly poor, and given a life line with an extremely soft penalty.
-
We’re winning this 2-1. Dibling will be in the squad but won’t play a part. Ipswich have been poor so far this season, big opportunity to pick them off early. Fully expecting a scrappy game, but based on what I watched of Ipswich last week I imagine they’ll fall over a lot, try and con officials and generally time waste.
-
I thought Dibling came through as a AM player but Russell Martin stuck him out wide to fit him in the team? I’d like to hope a wi her or two are on their way in. Playing five at the back is just sacrificing an attacking option. I’d argue Fraser is a wide player, Adam Armstrong is better as a wide player too.
-
There’s something about him that I stills a lot of confidence. His man-management seems very good for someone with little “experience”.
-
I reckon if Tyler Dibling is still here come the end of the window then he’ll sign a new contract. I’m sure his agent will be trying to get every cent after missing out on a bumper summer pay day. Probably would have a hefty release clause in it.
-
Ah all the ITK’s making an appearance as the window draws to a close 😂 Jokes aside we’ll probably get a young Premier League full back on loan, seems most likely. Otherwise maybe someone from Ligue 1? Ipswich will have a minor fill once they get their £40+ for Broadhead and Hutchinson, but I think Saints are a better prospect. Just look at the stadium, the facilities, dare I say it even the playing squad. Our squad looks stronger by the day. I don’t see Leicester losing Fatawu, El Khanotscoreagoaltosavehislife or Mavididi before the deadline.
-
Hutchinson leaving Ipswich is good news for us. Leicester still have a fairly strong squad with creative players. One or two additions for us and we’re in a strong position.
-
Legit didn’t realise he’d gone abroad. So many Scots have gone to Italy in recent years. I suppose that rules that one out then! 😂

Tyler Dibling - Official: Signs for Everton
Willo of Whiteley replied to Dusic's topic in The Saints
I didn’t see him in the latest training video, guessing he’s still training elsewhere -
If we’re going after Scottish players suddenly then can we go for Lennon Miller of Motherwell?
