Is there anywhere you can watch the game today? Because if there is I might pop out instead

The sale of Ronnie Edward’s signals another classic Sport Republic signing. How many have joined and left the club (or have been loaned out) since SR took over? Onuachu, Edwards, Orsic, Ramsdale, Bree, Sulemana, Edozie, Downs, Bazunu, Lavia, Larios…. There is some wasted money there.
-
He was not brought in to make some small change profit in SR terms. He was brought in having been heavily scouted with a lot of potential. One of their many poor transfers over the years.
-
Another Sport Republic disasterclass. #TheSportRepublicWay

Tella was an academy product. Livramento was pre-Sport Republic. In the grand scheme of things there is hardly any that they have bought and sold on for profit. So much for their “business model” whilst sustaining us as a Premier League team. 🙄
-
How many have there been tha Sport Republic have bought and sold on for profit? Romeo Lavia Kamaldeen Sulemana - somehow, and only just! That’s it isn’t it. Now time to name the players that have been bought by Sport Republic and since sold at a loss or loaned out. The list is significantly bigger.
-
We aren’t recouping the money we paid for him. Then again I said the same about Sulemana, but at least he could occasionally use his feet, unlike Bazunu the goalkeeper who’s never been able to use his hands.
-
Aribo and Edozie will either be seeing out their contracts or they’ll be loaned out/shifted for a fee. The comments are interesting from Tonda “I think that’s a question for Johannes Spors”. Everything that is wrong with modern football. Someone builds a squad and they chuck any old guy to “coach them”.

Picking up a monumental wage for any human his age to do fuck all 😀
-
I think there needs to be an element of realism. Flynn Downes won’t be moving on until the summer. Sam Edozie and Joe Aribo I think will leave but only on a free or on a loan. Aside from that I don’t envision a lot more movement.
-
He hasn’t been great when he’s played this season by any means, but he is a CB by nature. Ridiculous getting him to play that weird wing back role.
-
Flynn Downes is excellent at passing backwards and sideways
-
If this is a cup kit we 100% get knocked out against Doncaster. The greatest business venture since giving Jack Stephens a new contract and signing Damion Downs.
-
Pellè, Mané, Steven Davis, Jose Fonte - memories 🥲

Damion Downs - Official: Loaned to Hamburg
Willo of Whiteley replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
Guido Carillo was like Pele compared to Damion Downs. He was that poor and ineffective. A very low bar. #TheSportRepublicWay -
Newcastle one of the most unlikeable teams going, but I would love to see our players pick the ball up, turn and run like that at the opposition.
-
Saying Gavin Bazunu is the best keeper we have really is a low bar. Baffling those that still defend him. "If nothing else works, a total pig-headed unwillingness to look facts in the face will see us through."
-
I have a feeling he’ll go relatively full strength. Irony would be he does and Scienza plays 80 minutes before picking up a hamstring injury. I think we’ll have too much for them but I bet it will be tedious and a depressing watch. A 2-1 win to us. I wouldn’t be annoyed to see us lose, weirdly.

Nothing screams ambition like being linked with a guy that’s been playing in League 2.
-
The refereeing was excellent there. Lena rightly sent off for what is classed in the laws as violent conduct. Grealish sent off for gobbing off twice towards the referee. This is where there should be a lot of apologies from Everton. Their players were rattled and their fans abusive towards the officials there. No need for it.
-
Michael Keane getting sent off for Everton for pulling a Wolves players hair. He’s absolutely rattled.
-
Jesus Christ give you head a wobble. A footballer that can use his feet? Next you’ll be demanding for a goalkeeper that can use his hands! 🤣
-
I’d argue that that was this summer. The technical director in before the previous season had ended. The new manager appointed before the season had ended. Enough time to build a strong back room team. An entire summer of sound bites about us getting back to the Premier League. Little to no transfer activity until the end of the window. Key signings for key positions either ignored or completely messed up. And that is before the start of September! They’ve royally screwed up.
-
Fight, fight, fight…. 😂 Russell Martin wouldn’t sort this lot out. I think until there’s a thorough clear out things will stay relatively the same for a few years. I think the mentality of the players so is fragile and it doesn’t help with playing a formation that doesn’t play to the squads strengths. That combination is always going to end up in mid-table mediocrity, at which point the noises of discontent become louder.

Another player that’s been poorly advised by his agent. All that said his bank balance will be good!
