I think we can safely call this Matty Fernandes/JWP swap plus cash absolute bollocks 🤣🤣🤣
-
Sounds like we’re playing dogshit then, who’d have thought it
-
Five at the back working just as well as it did last season then
-
It’s a very weak team. This could be goals galore, Wrexham will come for a fight
-
Sums up the refereeing performance 🤣
-
Ipswich look terrible. Birmingham look a little rash and despite Stansfield’s best efforts to smash it wide he scores 🤣
-
Ipswich look knackered. They certainly go down easy. Referee has been crap, a foul every time the wind blows.
-
Birmingham need to be knocked off their arrogant perch. Sky talking about them like one of the true underdog stories. “When I was young, I had a dream, and £2B my father gave me”.
-
In fairness we lack defensive and attacking options too

Tyler Dibling - Official: Signs for Everton

At last! Someone with some common sense 👏🏻 -
Shame Tyler Dibling isn’t onboard (supposedly), could’ve given him the number ten and built the team around him. 😅

Paul Trollope comes across really, really well. Johannes Spors comes across in control of football business, I guess jury is out on that until the end of the window. Phil Parsons just seems very business-like, nothing wrong with that. -

Who sanctioned a poor player a new contract? (Jack Stephens) How is Jack Stephens seen as a leader? Is Tyler Dibling sticking around? Are we going to have an increase in squad depth? What is the boards target? Autos? Generic promotion? -

What a waste of a first question. Have you learnt anything from relegation? -

What’s the point in this thread? It just looks messy now, posts taken out of context from other threads. -
Lennon Miller Jesuren Rak-Sakyi Jack Rudoni Plus maybe another wide player and full back would be nice
-
KWP was number 2. Joe Lumley was number 13. No real reason. Some players like to keep the same number whether it be preference or superstition. We've gone years before without a number 5 or 6. It’s all pretty meaningless.

It’ll all be about commercial revenue and the food available for selection in the ground. Nothing exciting. -
So basically no real change. It’s the same numbers from pre-season. Who’d have thought it?

Tyler Dibling - Official: Signs for Everton
Willo of Whiteley replied to Dusic's topic in The Saints
Let’s put the Tyler Dibling rumours into context: - He was upset and homesick after moving to London. - He lasted four weeks before returning quietly to the club. - Most rumours generated are by fan accounts that are now being picked up by club fan accounts (eg. SaintsExtra) which makes the rumour seem more substantiated. - He had a breakthrough season last year, but was tainted by the shite he had around him. Some games he looked decent, but some he went totally missing. - “If” he wanted to leave, do you think his next dream move would be Everton? If he put a foot wrong the locals would batter him within seconds. - £50m for someone who has scored only two Premier League goals? Yeah I’d take it, but I think he’ll end up somewhere else. - But that’s the last thing, where does he end up? I don’t see him ending up at any of the top six now, they’ve all gone for far better established attacking options. They aren’t spending £50m on a largely untied kid. So that leaves abroad - which I don’t see happening. Or your teams outside the top six, Villa? Forest? Brighton? None of those I see as feasible either. -

I used to know a couple of people within the club, two of the transfers we got in at the end of last summer I called in late July. Although I don’t hear as much nowadays. Thats why when I read things with no substance on social media and then they end up on here I just roll my eyes in embarrassment. There were two “rumours” yesterday morning alone. A few years back I posted a fake rumour and within maybe 48 hours it appeared on here. 🤣 -
I’m purely suggesting that if we want to be going for promotion then we need to be targeting the better players, or certainly ones that are capable of making the step up 😄
-
Unfortunately, they might not be able to spend the same amount or more money for every position. Hope this helps.
