  1. Players should’ve pulled their finger out at the start of the season
  2. Ha! Won’t be on for years that
  3. Is Rishi available?
  4. Who’d have ever thought it! But after five miserable years k would take Mr Blobby as owner. Bring Katarina Liebherr back, restore some pride. Fans are done. Speak with your wallets now. No more. Sell up Dragan, sell up Sports Republic. Anyone know of any smart businessman that would like to transform a basket case of an organisation?
  5. That would be hilarious (aimed at Middlesbrough fans) obviously.
  6. Not been reported anywhere. But his Southampton future is over.
  7. Even if we were reinstated today I’d have no intention of going to Wembley now.
  8. This will impact the club for years. First the punishments. Reputation. Lack of communication from the club. The sackings will begin, the clear out. Innocent people will lose jobs because money has to be saved somewhere to fight all these ongoing legal battles. Players - who would want to be a part of a club found guilty of all this. Manager and coaching staff - depending who is involved will depend who’s left, but we’re almost certainly going to have a new manager. How do you attract anyone to have an association with this club after all this? Money? We’re going to be spending that on legal cases for years. New players - unless you pay out on an attractive manager with pedigree to come in you aren’t getting decent players. Simple. We could’ve done this a year or two ago, but the cheap option every time has now become more expensive and costly than doing the more expensive option once. The higher ups regardless of whether they knew or not - heads need to roll. This is scandalous. A stain. An embarrassment. I’m actually very much done with this club. It’s a proper weird feeling but I woke up this morning feeling the same as last night when I went to bed - I actually feel numb to it all. I’m angry and disappointed, and actually - I don’t care. I genuinely don’t care. Football is getting worse in general. It’s less fun nowadays with VAR and the same decisions, results, punditry happening day after day, year after year. I’m bored. So the club won’t be getting any more of my money. Finally, the young lad involved, his name has been dragged through the mud and whether that be right or wrong he is still a human being. I hope the club are supporting him and his family. Thisnisnt his fault but he’s clearly been instructed to do this; how do you say no to a director or manager or whoever superior they had. Mental health matters and I hope he gets all the support, backing, etc that he deserves. They way he’s been hounded by the pundits and media is absolutely disgusting, and we’ve all seen the way things can go.
  9. Anyone who was aware needs to be gone. Do you really think the club want to keep people who were involved? People who have brought the stain on this club? Tarnished the fans, the good staff that work there? People, and I mean innocent people will lose jobs over this scandal, payouts and legal fees have to come from somewhere.
  10. I posted the below on April 10th in the SR new leaf thread: I’m sure this’ll be merged in the ST thread soon, but let’s not gloss over this - Sport Republic have been a disaster. The headlines a simple: - 14th when they took over and a sustainable and desirable Premier League team. - Two relegations within three of their four full seasons. - The second worst Premier League finish in history, and the worst for us. But they’ve invested money! Let’s analyse that. - They spent recklessly in their first full season, Romeo Lavia was the only success. - They changed how they scout players from effectively scouts to a digital database that analyses them. This crop of intelligence scouted us gems such as Sekou Mara and Armel Bella-Kotchap. - The wastefulness of their spending has seen a squad change more times, almost as much as Watford change managers. Ah, the managers, there’s been some success there. Bollocks… Ralph Hassenhutl - excellent with Martin Semmens and his coaching team and not much money, good getting the best out of players. Probably not given any real say in transfers in SR first summer. Sacked, fail. Nathan Jones - clown from a Welsh mining village who married a nice girl, made more enemies in as short a space of time as a dictator would. Sacked, the first of the glorious “Black Box Data Driven Appointments”. Sacked, fail. Ruben Selles - damage limitation, appointed after a fluke win and subsequently led us downwards at the same time as Unai Emery was appointed by Villa. Sacked, fail. Russell Martin - good appointment, promotion, but boring football at times, stubbornness cost him, naivety in the transfer window, and should’ve done a lot better with the squad at his disposal. Sacked, but a pass. Ivan Juric - heavy metal football? Heavy metal bullshit. Who’d have thought bringing in a defensive manager when you’re bottom of the league would keep you up? SR did. Sacked. Fail. Will Still - Football Manager enthusiast, first big gig but stubbornness, lack of direction and leadership cost him massively. Big, big mistake from SR that will now potentially cost us promotion in what is a very weak Championship. Sacked, fail. Now Tonda Eckhart - we all had low expectations, but let’s not beat around the bush, he was brought in for the U21’s, not the first team, and fair play to him for working wonders with the resources he’s got. But surely SR have done well in other avenues? Ah, ffs… Goztepe, promotion holding their own and seemingly the only team benefitting from the glorious “multi-club model”. Albeit in the Turkish league they’ve done ok. Valenciennes, “baby are you down” as the song goes, because that’s the way they’re heading too, and have been since the takeover. Chopping and changing of managers. The ONLY positives I’ll give SR is the commercial side, so Level One, The Dell Bar, the matchday atmosphere outside the ground, all excellent. But that’s it. Let’s not gloss over all this, SR get little backing from me until we’re at least back where we started when they took over. Now to add: Spying - and seemingly we’re shit at that too. Another fantastic notch to add to their list of accomplishments during their time here. String boycotts need to happen. Demands of refunds. Dont buy any more merchandise, season tickets etc. Another humiliation. It’s like watching a live example of how not to run a business. Regardless of whether the higher ups knew or not, this is on their watch.
  11. “Deny everything Baldrick” ”Are you appealing your punishment?” ”No”
  12. He obviously had something about him, but this is just reckless stupidity or naivety. Either way I bet those players opinions have changed.
  13. I have full confidence in the clowns to announce season ticket prices next week being frozen in price. 😂🖕🏻
  14. MLT is an absolute fanny. Now he’s got this bullshit role with the club he’s going to tow the club political line.
  15. George, probably
  16. Whoever we get the club are going to have to pay top dollar for. Too managers generally attract top players. If we want to be serious about going up next season we have to pay for it. Significantly more now, if only they had done it a year ago when we all said it… SR masterclass.
  17. The players a begging up Tonda over the last couple of months. Would you feel duped if you were a player or still loving him?
  18. The players a begging up Tonda over the last couple of months. Would you feel duped if you were a player or still loving him?
  19. That Tonda Eckhart statue is a bit shit isn’t it. Everyone quickly unlike the photo!
  20. Russell Martin isn’t coming back. You need to move on. Heartbreak happens to all of us but you need closure. Delete the love letters, the videos, the photos you have, it’ll help the healing process.
  21. Beg Scott Parker. Proved it, and seemingly doesn’t cheat.
  22. Tonda culpable (Telegraph)
  23. Tonda culpable (Telegraph) He’s done
  24. Just resigned from Saints on my FM save because it felt dirty. 😂
  25. No, none of us are. What a weird flex for a Southampton fan. We all find it an over the top punishment, but actually to hear who we spied on and win it taints it hugely now and feels dirty.
