  1. Ironic isn’t it, the day the media stop talking about Boro and a lot of fans are now saying that Saints should go throw and throwing us out is ridiculous. Then Boro release the statement, and the northern journos release their “leaks” from the club; the same journos who have been wrong a lot of the time; and the media lap it up, and the fans wank it off. This is very desperate. This is a very Donald Trump thing to do, deflection tactics, media persuasion and ignoring the basic facts: - Couldn’t score any of there 639,538 shots against us. - Lost two games over 210 minutes of football. - Were 1st in the table at one point, shat the bed and suddenly won two games in eleven. - Manager was hired and managed them from 2nd to 5th. They are a very special breed of club. This is not acting in good faith. This is reckless, borderline inflammatory and clearly trying to influence the independent panel. Shameful rotten club. Arguably now, their reactions and actions to our initial breach is the biggest over-exaggeration and is a stain on the club now. The club that isn’t accepting of due process.
  2. I would say fine. Southampton don’t deserve to be in the final. But neither do Middlesbrough then, because you lost over 210 minutes of football fair and square. Riles up the media on their side. Players on their side. Fans on their side. And still lost. There is no integrity from that lot now. I hope we have a panel of lawyers waiting to let rip back at them for after this comes to a close.
  3. This is desperate stuff. The whole point in an independent panel is that they deal with facts, not feelings. This screams of a Boro tantrum going “WE LOST BUT LET US IN”. Steve Gibson is now questionable in his and their integrity in the game. Let the panel do its job. Not try and influence it. That’s exactly what he is trying to do.
  4. Been on calls all morning, anything significant I’ve missed today?
  5. All that said, there are some pundits and journos that are now saying how ridiculous this all is. Glad to see the tide is turning.
  6. Some news outlets really are desperate for us to not be there when the simple truth is we will be. The sooner the northern lot get over this simple fact the happier the world will be. 😂
  7. Could we not argue that we did them a favour then? 😂 They played better!
  8. Middlesbrough (Steve Gibson) doesn’t care who gets chucked under the buss along the way as long as he gets a small pay off.
  9. Is he the equivalent of our “DT” or “Fabrice”?
  10. So what are the details of tickets? T&C’s was causing concern earlier because it was mentioned in the EFL statement
  11. Hull and Saints yet to release ticket details, could be tomorrow maybe
  12. Apparently Southampton v Hull has been added on the club website as an upcoming fixture (Boro fans Reading have just smashed their phones down on the table).
  13. Plot Twist 538,539,129: Saints get kicked out but Middlesbrough don’t get reinstated as they’ve technically lost the tie. Hull go up by default. Steve Gibson sues the EFL and the fans headloss explodes some more. 😂
  14. Just for balance, not all journos are bellends following a narrative:
  15. One of the biggest non-posts. Congrats on stating the obvious 😂 Boro need to be called out for their recklessness with the media and borderline weaponising and whipping up a frenzy. Then to have a further tantrum after being put out after 180 minutes of football? Not sure any analyst could’ve prepped us for that. 😂
  16. Posted earlier but just to add further: Do Hull get a bye to the Premier League? Boro would kick up a stink about that. No final? Loss of revenue for the EFL. Fans have already made plans? T&C’s will be the same as always on tickets. The EFL have to write that so they cover all bases.
  17. Would take that ahead of our Boro going to the final. It would also fit the “new lost the tie over two legs”. Also would fit the “Southampton punishment does not mean Boro award”.
  18. WE’RE IN THE FINAL GUYS! It’s just generic EFL legality talk they have to cover! 😀👍🏻
  19. The same guy that said Bertrand and Ings new deals had been signed and a generally second to every real story? HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA
  20. Calling bollocks on his being kicked out. Not sure who the fuckwit is saying that Hull are being prepared to train midweek - that’s funny! 😂 Looking forward to buying my ticket this week 😇 Doesn’t everyone always read the T&C’s of buying tickets?
  21. I’m close to not bothering with this thread, there are certain posters that seem desperate or are borderline clinging to the idea of us getting kicked out. All I can say is u hope you don’t get a Wembley ticket, and if you do I hope you’re not sat anywhere near me 😂
  22. It’ll be Southampton v Hull on the 23rd May and it’ll kick off at 15:00.
  23. If anyone thinks Boro are going to Wembley instead of us - give your head a wobble and try and fathom (I know it’s hard) just try and fathom the legal issues that would then have to happen: Do Boro get a bye? A punishment for us shouldn’t mean a reward for them? Hull kicking up a stink that they’ve had to qualify? Wrexham angry that they should be reinstated? Millwall should get a free hit at the final because effectively Boro do? Saints case arguments then include the legality of it all? Potential GDPR breaches of the individuals spending/banking? Costs of income lost? And then we come to the EFL, moving from Wembley, changing venue, rearranging the date, the police have to sign off on that. Fan loss of money Read the above and then try and convince me we’re being kicked out the play offs. 😂
  24. There are some absolute fannies on here today 😂
  25. Hull’s statement is like a holding pattern statement. I imagine the EFL want to release a statement before tickets go on sale.
