I don’t disagree with the above, I stopped going way earlier in the season, probably haven’t clapped since the play off final last season. They're all multi millionaires doing a job that doesn’t matter, and this season is only be happy to see one or two stick around.

The Premier League has been dull for years. I’ve watched very little this season, maybe it’s because I’m a year older and other things in my life take priority or maybe it’s because it is unbearably boring. Oh yes, it’s because it’s unbearably boring. 😁

Bazunu would be fine for the Championship, not spectacular, but good enough, more so with a good back four in front of him.

It’s going to be spicy next season, look at some of those teams. We need some solid players and quickly this summer.

Some times if you’re looking to stamp your authority it is best to bring your own team in and remove “club legends” or former players so to speak. Lallana would be good for the academy, I struggle to see or know what he has done to contribute to the first team, whether it be coaching or playing this season.

Bella-Kotchap is going to be linked with every German club going. It’s agent talk, but also probably the most likely. I imagine he’s on the “get rid at all costs” list 🤣

Kind of looking forward to seeing some of the Russell Martin fan-boy players leave this summer.

I’ve said for the last week or so he strikes me as the kind of person everyone was a little apprehensive of at first (due to experience); but if you saw him going to Leicester or another top end Championship club you’d be saying “smart move”. He comes across very well, seems tactically flexible, and seems to have a good record working with young players. We need a blend of experience as well as youth in the squad for this season. I’m certainly more excited by this appointment than not. Some will be disappointed that the Lord and saviour Danny Rohl hasn’t come - but he clearly thinks he is bigger than he is already. Very excited to see what the summer holds, hopefully a major clearout, but by getting him in the door early hopefully it means better preparation and a better season.

There are some on here that are probably still not over Danny Rohl not coming - if he didn’t want to come or was waiting for a better offer, then he was never the man of us. Simple as. Move on. 😂😂

There’s loads of British players abroad that would probably play for Saints too. The club is more appealing to some than we probably think, hopefully with the right manager it will appeal more.

Johansson (Stoke) Woodman (out of contract Preston) Lamptey (out of contract Brighton) or Aarons (Bournemouth) Burrows (Sheffield United) Mumba (Plymouth) Neil (Sunderland) Sainz (Norwich) Sargent (Norwich) Rak-Sakyi (Crystal Palace) Ferguson (Brighton) There’s some decent players out there going out of contract that could be useful. Also there’s some that could be available on loan or for a smaller fee. I’m sure we won’t be poaching from potential promotion rivals but definitely on the lower end of the Championship or fringe Premier League they’ll be a few that appeal.
