Anyone fancy a prediction for the coming season? Always love this time of year!
Here's mine -
Hants Final Championship position - 5th. Hoping for a stronger showing than last year, especially with the younger lads having more experience. Still no where near strong enough for a title shout though.
20/20 - Finals Day. Just because we are normally so strong in this comp. Think Semis will be our limit though.
Metro Cup - Semis again. We might not have the strongest first team now, but i think we will have after the Hundred exodus.
Leading run scorer - Going for Gubbins. Unconvinced by Lehmann if i am honest. Hoping to see a good season from one of Albert or Prest too.
Leading bowling - Abbott. Every year i think we will see him struggle due to age and over reliance. Every year he just reminds me how lucky we are to have him.
Young gun/surprise player - Ben Mayes. Has something about him and seems very consistent. If picked early in the season, could be a challenger for leading run scorer.
