I'll play Devils, Devils advocate. Arguably his "best" (according to fans) seasons under mopo 46 apps - 0 Goals - 4 Assists. Hardly awe inspiring, and we had no problems converting chances then. His actual best times were under Koeman. 69 apps - 3 goals - 15 Assists. But on the other hand Tadic churned out this 77 apps - 14 goals - 23 assists. I guess it helped he had a target man in Pelle. Personally, his all round game isn't good enough for me.

Let me get this right, our alleged "DEAD BALL SPECIALIST TM" has 7 assists in 42 games? Looking at it. 17/18 - 35 games apps 5 goals and 4 assists 16/17 - 43 games apps 4 goals and 5 assists. I wonder how many corners, freekicks and other dead balls he has taken in those stats? Hardly awe inspiring stuff.

Agree with JWP comments thou. He won't do well in a pressing formation, doesn't have the legs or tactical nous. There have been many players that have captained and played for England u21's that are not doing well or average at best.
