I thought bookies took bets on almost anything. I wanted to put a bet on that I wasn’t able to do via my sky bet account, so went into a real life bookies at lunchtime. All I wanted to do was a COMBINED bet on the final score of our game tomorrow AND all goal scorers. Apparently they’ll only accept the score plus a named first scorer or last scorer, not all goal scorers combined. Lame.

New Forest District Council is trying to find the cause of the sound, which starts at around 10pm. A spokesman said: "Within the last week we have received approximately 10 complaints relating to a low-frequency noise in the Waterside area. "The complaints refer to the noise similar to that of a low-frequency drone, which has been occurring during the night for several months. "Due to the large amount of heavy industry processes along the Waterside area, the Environment Agency and New Forest District Council environmental health teams are now working together to establish the source of the noise. "Out-of-hours monitoring is to be carried out as part of the investigation."

It’s exactly this kind of observational skill and conversational art that made me want more than three posts a day bletch. Re points 1 & 2 Unfortunately in my excitement to be back in the muppet show game, I dropped the ball with regards to spelling and capitalisation (I’m just thankful that it was you that highlighted these errors in a good natured way, rather than MLG coming over to the muppets area and making me feel inferior). Re point 3 Your comment about the removal of gun is pretty close to the mark, but it was self inflected. I’ve not been happy with the Spudgun user name for a long time as I’m a lover not a fighter and I didn’t want to scare off any of the young boys on here with any talk of large weapons. The evolution of the name spudders through reuse by muppet show colleagues just seemed like the way to go (and yes I do think of you guys as colleagues as sometime muppeting can be actual hard work, especially when reading Dubai Phil’s post!!). Re point 4 It’s good to see that even a highly intelligent fella such as yourself has been fooled by the inclusion of some friendly cute eyes being added to poo! This knowledge will now be harnessed by myself for badness through the addition of eyes to pictures that would usually be against forum rules. Re final point I need more than three posts a day so I can escalate my complaining about the lack of forum functionality to 'like' posts on here! PS I’d have 'liked' you post if I could have, but unfortunately Steve doesn’t think the concept of ‘like’ is something that will take off.
