From Brightons forum http://www.northstandchat.com/showthread.php?238628-How-did-we-lose-that I really think Reading are there for the taking. Last few games: Brighton A: Totally rode their luck. It was constant Albion on the radio and they missed a pen. Leeds H: Leeds looked as much in the game as they did for most of it. Wham A: Fair enough tremendous. Posh A: Lost 3 - 1. Reading know after last nights game they can afford to lose. Even if Wham were to break a habit and win at home, they are still 3 ahead of Wham with 2 easy home games to come.

Reading have been lucky their last 2 games. It looked like they werent going to beat 10 men Leeds for most of the game and how Brighton didnt score last night is beyond me. If Brighton had had finishers like Sharp and Lambert, Reading would have lost last night.
-
BTW, come on people, lets sell them out !!!

I bought 2 x seat tickets yesterday as terraces were sold out. Earlier today after terraces became available again, I phoned up and swapped them over. Even got a tenner back. You can do that if they havent printed out the tickets yet. Call this number rather than the normal one. 0845 6889288 I chose to collect my tickets before the Reading game.

Tuesday's matches, inc. Brighton v Reading (1945 KO)
bender replied to Crazy Diamond's topic in The Saints
Yes but imagine if they had drawn or even lost tonight. Defeat to us would have left the door open for wham to go 2nd on Sat. I think Fridays game will be very defensive. That said Brighton would have beaten Reading tonight if they had Lambert & Sharp. Very excited about going. -

Why? It was a Derby and they clearly raised their game. Now they are a laughing stock. We only need to beat Reading or Posh and were there, considering were playing Cov at home who look like they'll already be down. -

In a strange way this is good news. Reading wont be as desparate for the points on Friday. They know now that even if they lose and Wham win, theyre still 3 points up on Wham with 2 very easy home games to come. -

FFS. At least Reading are using up all their luck tonight. -

Has anyone mentioned that Pompey are losing and could be all but relegated tonight. -
Dont believe this !! When going to buy tickets via OS, terrace tickets are available and seats sold out !! The other way round !

Brighton are the better side. If they could get this back, I would fancy our chances on Fri -
Quite funny but who the f**k is Daniel De Ridder. Some poor punctation also. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P10db7jXoDU&feature=related

I did exactly the same online but I selected to pick up at the ticket office (will do b4 Reading game). If they do get more terrace tickets it shouldnt be a problem swapping them if obviously they have yet to send them to me.

If there is only one, it has to be Lawrenson. He has always been negative about us even in our Premiership days. The other week against Blackpool, he said premiership teams dont concede goals like that. F*cking Liverpool do.
-
As starter of this thread, update: certainly not nervous now. Really think Reading will be low on confidence after tonight and we'll get it sewn up on Friday. I'm going to the Reading game and I cant wait. Also going to the Posh game - cant wait.
-
...and then if Wham beat Brighton, Reading are 3rd.
-
Well i've just shelled out for both Reading and Peterborough so everyone can FFS
-
In fairness, managers do tend to 'big up' their opponents just before playing them.
-
Just went online and got 2 tickets as they are now on sale to non-ST holders. Just seats though - terrace sold out. I've selected to pick tickets up though - at Reading game.
-
If you remember, they cheated.
-
I supported Man Utd just to annoy my brother.
-
Ditto. Been trying like mad to get a ticket for tomorrow.

Brightons home record is better than Readings away and they will be buoyed by the results today that puts them in with a chance of the play offs again. If Reading lose tomorrow, Wham will be desparate for us to beat them on Fri as it will give them a chance to go 2nd on Saturday.
