Off to my folks place at Xmas and they don't have wireless there as they only have a single pc. That is connected to bband via USB. I'm planning on taking my iPod with me so I'm trying to find an easy way to get wireless connectivity. If I also took a Belkin USB wireless nic stick and plugged that in, can I share the Internet connection via this to 1 or more wireless devices?

FWIW, I agree that there must be hundred of professional footballer who are gay. I cant see anyone "coming out" for a few years yet though, and then Im sure it will be a mainland European player rather than a British one.

Problem for phone companies is that, say 10 years ago you got a free phone on a 12 month contract with the phone being worth about £100 or os, and they took the cost of that for you. Then phones got cameras and were costing O2, Vodafone etc more to buy, so they put on 18 month contracts so they could recover the costs betters. Now a mobile phone is everything from a web browser to a movie player and costing a lot more, they need 24 month contracts. Simple answer is get the most simple phone you need.
