  1. I will be renewing, the last season in the Championship was the best season I remember for several years. Hopefully, this will be too.
  2. Based on that, you must be in the Circle of Trust, then?
  3. Ok. You originally posted. that, apart from recruitment, there are no other real issues with SR. Well, there is also, as I pointed out, the complete lack of a football strategy and direction with the flip-flopping of approaches from one manager to another. This would require a complete change of recruitment from one manager to another, regardless of the quality of recruitment. By the way, why do you think SR will suddenly fix their appalling recruitment at all levels? Isn't the definition of doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting a different outcome, the definition of insanity?
  4. Are you Rasmus Ankersen?
  5. Two relegations and 5 managers in three seasons, still the potential to be the worst PL club of all time. Countless, dithering changes in direction from the Hassenhutl press to Nathan Jones variation on Wimbledon, to Russell Martin's possession obsession to Ivan Juric's death metal football or whatever you'd like to call what we saw. Hundreds of millions wasted on players who were either not ready or would never be ready for premiership football. Key players like Romeu let go. No, you've got me there. I really can't find a problem with Sports Republic's ownership.
  6. Outstanding, this is the funniest piece you have ever written 🤣
  7. What has SR ever done for us thread? ..
  8. Who or what is Fulthorpe, please?
  9. Bless
  10. He's certainly error prone
  11. Why is nobody talking about the real scandal here. Why did the Circle of Trust not warn us about this?
  12. Not good timing for a sale, just before a critical summer with a restructure, the appointment of a new manager and critical transfer dealings required.
  13. We are not going to get £50m for Dibling.
  14. I completely agree, especially on the 91st minute of a game where you desperately need a point. He also made an error that led to a Crystal Palace goal.
  15. I thought Stewart competed well, kept their centre halves occupied, defended corners well and had a good run into their penalty area when he seemed to be pushed. The difference when Archer (definitely not a target man) replaced him, was huge.
  16. Unfortunately, Morris has only scored 8 goals in the Championship this season. Not enough to take a punt on for me.
  17. I'd have him back without a 2nd thought, but I think that ship has sailed. We would have been a much stronger proposition this year in the PL if we had managed to retain him. For me, his strengths have always far outweighed his lack of finishing prowess.
  18. Yes, seemed to get caught napping too often
  19. He seemed to have the talent but lacked concentration and focus.
  20. Excellent point. In the dark days of League 1, we bought players who could rise through the league with us; Fonte and Lambert being prime examples.
  21. If we beat Derby's record we will have to make a DVD of Les's goal and make him a statue, at the very least.
  22. I would leave Onuachu. He is the only target man we have and keeps the opposition defence from pushing up. Isn't he also our top scorer?
  23. Our defence would
  24. Ross Stewart could be back soon?
