What is the average height/weight of the posters on here?
pap replied to Barry Sanchez's topic in The Muppet Show
How the f**k do you bone someone 2.1 times? Is Barry counting holding hands as a 0.1 or something? -
Hardly. I thought the big Tory idea was "work should pay". Sh!t idea. Usual (sh!t) execution.
-
Blimey. You're not touching yourself, are you Bazza?

Big defeat for the Government on this issue. The scheme has been described as "legally flawed" by the Supreme Court, opening the way for people who've had benefits stopped to start claiming them back. http://www.theguardian.com/business/2013/oct/30/poundland-case-government-defeated-work-schemes-duncan-smith

If it placates you any, Barry - I managed to escape without hairy feet.

I couldn't give a toss, Bazza. I will permit you fifteen minutes for this to sink in and have a small cry.

My mate who got arrested at the Brighton game nailed Dyer's game years ago. No end product, he would say. In Dyer's defence, I'd offer two observations. 1) He has improved since then, but not enough to pierce our mighty defence. 2) At least he's not Danny Dyer.

Interminable Barry Sanchez guesses at your real life name versus your personal mystique? It's a toughie.

What a f*cking shambles my home town is when it comes to putting on a show. http://www.letsrocksouthampton.co.uk/ Can anyone tell me where the "rock" is in all of that? FFS.
-
FFS, it's Lewis. One of the benefits of not being anonymous.

Er, have you ever heard all the Pompey songs? If we're going to provide free advertising for a League Two non-entity that we're not even playing against, I'm fairly sure that Kenwyne Jones will get some stick if he plays against us. Shame on the Saints fans for not singing about him every game, imo. He still plays in the Prem.

And Manjizz too, cum to think of it.

Better than Jizzman.

What happens when a family band breaks up? Do they all have to be re-born again under different mums?

I'm sure it's all above board and not actually an example of the ol' racism. I reckon Tim probably listens to Grandmaster Flash, so he can't be racist.

She's actually called 2 of 2.

My kids have very decent first names. Both have declared themselves happy with our choices. One is traditional, another was named after a Star Trek character, but it still works.

If we qualify for the Europa League should/would we decline to take part?
pap replied to SaintBobby's topic in The Saints
I'm really not worried about what those other teams do, unless they're playing against us. Even then - I'm not scared. All the pressure is on those teams to perform. I can certainly see one (or more) of those teams having a bad spell. I personally think the Europa League is a poor format. I'd sooner they amalgamated that and Champions League into one giant European Cup. -

This season. We've had year after year of progression from -10 in League One. I can't remember our prospects ever being brighter, and I'm looking forward to seeing the team build on those 9 games. -
I'm playing Bigot Bingo. I've got the racism and the homophobia. Can holepuncture say something disparaging about women? I'm sweating here.

Against a backdrop of over-achievement, you're asking people to be realistic and deriding their aspirations as stupidly expectant? I know that we've one or two posters who over-egg our chances, but Cortese and co have exceeded all expectations, even the ones they set themselves. According to the plan, we were supposed to in the midst of a Championship battle pushing for promotion to the Prem. That happened two years ago. Now I can accept that the club faces a lot of challenges if it is to ever hit the true big-time, not least of which the city itself. It's disappointing to see the empty seats and I think the club can be doing more to address that. On every other level though, it's Roy of the Rovers stuff. The old pro making it good after working his way up the leagues. Players like Lallana and Schneiderlin who've stuck with us through all the crap. A fresh crop of highly-lauded youngsters coming through the ranks. Sitting in a European place and looking very much like we still we be come the end of the season. All that, plus money behind us. If people can't get excited about Saints' prospects now, when can they ever? -
This blog post seems to suggest that the PJ are pursuing similar lines of enquiry as they did in 2007. http://joana-morais.blogspot.com/2013/10/pj-searches-for-maddies-body-again.html Based off the following Portuguese article. http://www.cmjornal.xl.pt/detalhe/noticias/exclusivo-cm/pj-volta-a-procurar-corpo-de-maddie

2008-2009 - Rescued from what looked like oblivion 2009-2010 - Missed out on playoffs, but Wembley final and JPT success 2010-2011 - Promotion from League One 2011-2012 - Promotion from Championship 2012-2013 - 14th place in Premier League 2013-2014 - Recognised by media as side that's doing right. Massive improvement on previous year. Which year aren't you happy with? -

Happy Clappers United have finished above Doom City every year for the past five years.
