Are QPR still under possible sanction by the Football League for breaking FFP rules? At one point, the Football League were saying they would get relegated to the Conference if they dropped out of the Premiership and didn't have 40m in fine money handy. Have they paid that off?

It'd never work now. They'd spend the entire evening asking each other if they were DoC.

The first couple of seasons of TNG had some great episodes, but had some real duffers too. It wasn't just Tasha Yar's character that was underdeveloped, although I think things worked out well after she was killed off. Worf came to the fore, they really fleshed out the Klingon Empire in Seasons 3 & 4 as a result. Ol' Worfy holds the distinction of having appeared in the most instalments of Trek content. He was excellent on DS9 too; his violent solution to any blip on the radar was welcomed by Sisko, where it would have been dismissed by Picard. Another cool thing about Yar going was Yesterday's Enterprise, one of the best damn episodes of Trek there is.

You going to come dressed as a human, Bear? Same question to Tim x

It's a good move. Guess May worked out that people actually care about this stuff. Saw an interesting tweet from Frankie Boyle last year.

Just get a PC and get Elite Dangerous, FFS. And FWIW, the PC version of Frontier kicked the arse of the Amiga version.

Interested in old skool games myself, which is one of the reasons I got an Android tablet. You can emulate anything instead of buying the few things that are available for selection.

#4 Traffic information signs. Queue ahead, long delays between Junctions 1 and 99, obstacle in road. None of it really tells you how late you're going to be. I think a bit of honesty is in order.

I've had to deal with the necessary evil of recruitment agencies for years. They don't give a f**k about you unless you're right for the role, and only give slightly more of a f**k once you're in the role. I really used to hate the ones that'd never call back, contact you for roles that are wholly unsuitable (either in terms of salary or prior experience). The "best" agent I ever had used to stutter when he was bullshítting. I very much enjoyed negotiating pay with him. Also worth remembering that despite their ills, they get you paid on time.

Ah, it's ok as long as I'm credited I fear for young Connor though. He'll become some not-famous version of Patrick Marber, hounded by non-famous versions of Stewart Lee and Richard Herring for the rest of his days.

I normally get there about 90 minutes before the game, get in an hour's drinking, then wend my way down about half hour before the game, which leave 10-15minutes stadium time pre-game.

He's the main reason I embed my twitter tag into my new images.

Personally, I think the sign painter did a number on them, and chuckled all the way to his next job. Old Farmhouse is a decent balance. Slightly longer walk (15m), but gets you into St Marys Northam-side, so you don't have to go through the bridge crush. We do the return leg, again no bridge to contend with, and avoid the vast majority of the football road traffic simply by hanging around in the pub for 30-60mins after the game.

I have it on good authority that Alfred Pennyworth discharged himself from Batman's employment, mostly on grounds that the young master insisted on calling himself "Brett" Wayne, toyed with the superhero moniker of "Brettman", and despite all hyperbole to the contrary, could only reliably be trusted to cook food sourced from Iceland*. *The shop, not the country.

Bucks, I am really sorry for standing you up in Stoke. I offer the following in my defence. I was out on the p!ss with the old man, Stoke is fkn confusing and both our phones had run out of juice, meaning the only way he could contact the wife was by going back to the hotel. I accompanied him on this mission, as is my duty, and all was good. I know that the meme of disaffected forum loser gets applied liberally enough, but I've met people off here, they've been sound and I've given them a lot less sh!t as a result. Projection is a natural reaction when operating on limited information, but when I've met forum posters I didn't know in real life before, it's mostly a twist at the end Fight Club type scenario, where you finally reconcile forum bravado with the person underneath. Enduring themes of "ah, he's not such a c**t after all" prevail in pretty much all cases.

You know what a suspicious little bastard I can be, Bear. I find it highly suspicious that for the last year, there have been 50mph roadworks all around the M6 Toll, and specifically, the bit of the M6 you go on if you do not take the toll road. The lead up to the toll road is all 50mph, and by time you get there, the enticement is all too great. Do you carry on crawling along in cramped conditions on the 6, or do you take the Toll, let it rip, and have some reasonable expectation of making it to the South Coast in the next century? I choose the latter. Always. Bastards.

Is anyone else familiar with the M6 Toll?

BMWs are very popular in Northern Ireland. I got my first one there, and really, there aren't many opportunities to unleash the stereotypical traits associated with Beemer drivers. Almost all of the roads are single carriageway, many of them meander all over the place and opportunities to overtake are limited. You'll achieve nothing by full-beaming the driver in front. They've nowhere to go, except contraflow. It's barren ground for the wannabe Beemer bastard over there, skip.

Admittedly, it could, especially if a bunch of sad losers break cover of their dating websites and head for the only woman they've had a substantive "conversation" with in the last decade. Do you know what you are doing, Lou?

We're in Old Farmhouse before and after every game. Big garden, doesn't get too rammed and they do a decent brekkie. We've done the Chapel (alright, but packed) and King Alfred (shíte, and packed). I suggest Farmhouse for a venue, largely because I'm lazy but also because I've tried other places and the Old Farmhouse is genuinely suitable for a bunch of randoms to meet up at. It also has a "massive rear, with play areas and hot spots". Their words, not mine.

This is a few years old now, but I've recently discovered it. Turn the bass up and enjoy.

Series cut short following protests. http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/tv/news/immigration-street-cut-short-after-locals-protest-against-channel-4s-benefit-street-spinoff-10018864.html Good.

Lounge placement justified! Yeah, it's madness really, given the size of this country. With decent enough investment in the rail network, could get most of the freight off the motorways. The Solent is now crying out for decent mass transport.
