Another goal or four for Saints wouldn't go amiss.

So many missed chances. Hope we're not going to end up regret these.

Not a good performance at all. Take those 3 points though.

Typical season opener from Saints. Defence all at sea. Midfield kept giving it away. Attack had a couple of chances but not much service. Too slow. Looked unfit.

That was caused by fannying around in the middle of the pitch. Stoopid.

Lots of possession, silly defensive mistake and lack of pressure in the attacking third. Been here before. Still, better towards the end of the first half but I reckon we're more likely to see Sharp nick a 2nd from a poor Saints pass.

What on earth was Smallbone doing when Brighton had that good chance with about 15 minutes to go? He was either asleep or knackered and was lucky that the chance was missed. Hope he learns something from that.

First half performance showed us just how thin the squad is. Second half better but still carrying some dead wood.

PEH gets worse with each passing minute.

Once again Adams is on his heels.
