  1. Redmond on to start putting pressure on Liverpool now.
  2. I guess they think it is marginally more entertaining than the stuff on the pitch.
  3. Liverpool don't look like scoring in a month of Sundays.
  4. Gabbi's guile nearly had him through a couple of times. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Good defensive display designed to frustrate the Dippers, who don't seem to have any creativity.
  6. Gabbi got a black belt in judo?
  7. Our tactics seem to be to bore Anfield and Liverpool to death.
  8. It is arguable that those "improved" have simply played more, and improvement is an illusory effect of that. Most were previously understudies and so have simply emerged from the shadows of their more illustrious, long-sold predecessors. What is clear is that too many players have gone backwards under Puel's stewardship.
  9. Proves my point - look what happened to him once Marcus' shared ambition and nourishment was lost. He was dispensed with.
  10. Worrying stuff indeed. One fears the ambition died with Marcus. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Yes, it might have a bearing on whether we sell our prize asset, or not.
  12. People gallantly defending Puel are assuming that we will finish the season holding our current 9th position. Not so sure myself.
  13. http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39764470 Withering Mourinho sarcasm about Shaw. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Both have gone backwards and disappointed. Both have good potential in the right environment. I'd like to see both stay (think they will) and push on but I m not sure that's going to happen with Puel and Black in charge. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. And even they sound increasingly as if they are just going through the motions and have lost belief.
  16. Essential departures: Puel, Long, JRod, Forster, Martina Maybe - Boufal, Hoj Departures forced upon us: VVD, Tadic, er that's about it...the gravy train is juddering to a halt.
  17. I think the Cup Final may have, curiously, only served to hasten Claude Puel's demise, rather than bought him time or goodwill. This is because it showed just how well the team can play when motivated, despite their collective limitations. In doing so it served to underline how Puel fails to inspire motivation and respect in run of the mill games.
  18. Crikey, who wants Monk? No thanks. Sure, Pochettino to Puel, via Koeman, is a steep gradient downwards but we don't want to go off the proverbial cliff!
  19. Yes. Kim Jong-un would approve of the slavish devotion and rictus smiles... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I've always been a shallow, plastic glory hunter - started going in 77 after we won the cup, aged 10. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. It appals me too. But you risk being called a "Mong " and a "dinlow" for daring to dissent. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
