Oh my fucking god, on the break and we ignore the open space in front of us to then back and play it around their players back to our defense. -

Get the ball on the wing and immediately looking to go backwards. -

When are the cards coming out for all these Leicester fouls then? That's no worse than Diallos, if anything it's worse as he makes proper contact. -

By contrast Leicester are chasing everything. Hope that works in our favour. -

What's happened to Diallo, really off the pace after looking really good since he came in. Is it because we're asking him to play deeper? He did look good when he was turning and going forward in fairness. -

Literally could have turned around and play the pass in any other direction and it would have been fine. -

Fuck sake Diallo, all the time in the world to do something and you play it straight at a leciester player. And now on a yellow for the rest of the game. -

Pretty emotional as we get close to kick off, my father got me into Saints and passed away from covid at the start of February. Sat here having a drink for him wearing his favourite shirt, wondering how I'm going to hold it together if he ends up just missing out on us winning the cup. -
Makes even more of a mockery of the fact that United were allowed to buy their way into the top league after only just setting their team up, while we were turned down.

Two cracking goals scored by saints too, well worth a look.

Pre match show on YouTube shows the highlights of the women's FA cup and I thought the presenter says to Hammond "not seen you bury one in them, Dean". Was talking about the goals, but made me double take. -

Bit weird that Adams, Ings and Walcott have all played really well up top together in any combination of the two but we aren't going with it recently. Redmond is playing better, but if he's up top I'd rather he be running off the shoulder of the last man than coming deep - if he's going to drop deep he may as well play off the left or right. -

Big, big test for Djenepo here. Walcott causes so many problems with his direct running so Moussa really needs to justify the faith Ralph has shown in him. -
Racist abuse on social media after team loses
Saint_clark replied to East Kent Saint's topic in The Saints
Oh no, I absolutely believe they should be banned. In fact it should be an IP bans and all social media platforms should get together to form a system like a local pub watch, where if one bans you they all ban you. I just get fed up of this kind of abuse being used as "evidence" of a huge problem with racism in football when most of the people posting it don't actually believe it, might not even be football fans and could be from literally anywhere in the world. If we're going to address a problem i'd rather we do so with an accurate picture of why the problem exists rather than creating false narratives. Anyway, it's cup semi final day, I'm going to leave this for now, have a drink and cheer the boys on. Enjoy the game buddy. -

Was pretty pessimistic before today, now I can't help but imagine the feeling at full time if we are the winners. -
My opinion on this is always the same, if they want to go then fucking let them, the domestic leagues will be more open and competitive for it providing we reform TV and prize money to make it more even. People say "but the best players will all go to these clubs"...they do already, so we'll just be drawing from the pool of players outside the top 6.

Racist abuse on social media after team loses

Telling me what I do and don't believe is pretty sanctimonious. I know for a fact there are people out there who post things that they don't believe purely to get a reaction. -

Classic misunderstanding of the kind of morons you get on social media. Majority of the time the people looking for a reaction don't even slightly believe what they're typing, they're just posting it because they know it's the most offensive thing they can say. As I said above, they abuse everyone regardless of skin colour...but you're not exactly going to use racial slurs against white players are you, you use something else. Is the abuse Lallana got about his son not being his any less distressing from his point of view? -
Good point, hadn't thought of it that way.
