  1. He's probably got some soundbites ready for when the clips get replayed over and over if they do. I hate how commentators all try to emulate the "AGUEROOOOO" moment nowadays.
  2. In Eastern Europe. Where racism actually IS a problem. Racism is not an issue in this country bar one or two idiots a season. People who claim racism is "rife" in British football need to take a look at nights like tonight and realise that actually this country is way ahead of the curve.
  3. Calm down dear, no I didn't. Just went back and it is encouraged, but still doesn't change the fact that countries in Asia and Africa are still polluting at a much higher rate. Worth pointing out your article referred to specifically India and China planting trees - I was talking about Asia in general and certain African countries, Nigeria being one of the worst, and their levels of pollution.
  4. To be fair, you do get the opportunity to pay for food if you pay to get in.
  5. Being one of the top 12, 14 clubs isn't achieving anything mate.
  6. Just read up on that...mental. Seems like a really easy way to commit murder and get away with it.
  7. That sounds right. We had some cracking routines in that time, very inventive and scored some great goals - and that at a time when you'd expect every freekick within 30 yards of goal to be a shot from Lambert!
  8. Fair enough, he did it against Villa as well (although apparently he didn't come off injured as there's no mention of it - must have been another keeper/incident where they got injured as well). https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/30077226
  9. Fair enough, not sure who Adkins was referring to then but I definitely remember him saying that. Guessing whoever it was is long gone by now.
  10. With Van Dijk first half of the season and a huge dip in performances after his injury ruled him out for the season...
  11. No, the most likely scenario is he's trying to get out of his obligation to buy the remaining 20% as agreed and she's taking legal action to force him to pay up. Possibly he thought he'd have some mates buzzing to put money in by this point, but none of them do as we look like the team that's playing the worst/slowest football in the Premier League.
  12. It was away to Villa, got injured doing it as well and never looked as good after that.
  13. What happened to Change UK, I thought they were the revolution.
  14. Personally I know that humanity can make a difference to the climate, but until people start lobbying Asia and certain African countries, there is really no point. I'm sick and tired of being told repeatedly how we need to make changes in this country when we're a drop in the ocean compared to countries out in the east.
  15. Nope. Not fussed about the top flight anymore until the top 6 and sky **** off to a European super League. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  16. Too easy. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  17. Honestly even Watford move the ball quicker than we do, we're so slow in possession it's painful. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  18. Hasenhuttl walked down the tunnel like he really couldn't be arsed anymore. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  19. Too scared of them. Ralph made such a huge mistake switching to 3 at the back that late in the day.
  20. Long has rarely been starting for multiple games in a row though, usually if he doesn't score he's dropped. I feel confident in saying he would have at least 2 goals if he had started the first 7 games of this season instead of Adams.
  21. If we're going to play a hardworking player who rarely scores i'd prefer to play Long, who at least works harder, wins the ball in the air, has the experience of this league (and knows how to draw fouls) as well as being able to actually pop up with a goal now and then.
  22. Trouble now is they're players that aren't quite big enough for the top clubs, and the middling clubs that might want them can't afford the £40million+ it would take.
  23. Absolutely I don't, which is why I would never judge a parent for disciplining their child with a smack. Anything above the light, glancing blow that intends to leave a stinging sensation for a few seconds and I obviously don't approve though. I'm aware there are bad parents out there, but a bad parent who has spent 6 years with a child knows that childs behaviour and how it will respond to certain actions better than someone who comes in with a clipboard to judge their parenting skills for an hour. At the end of the day i'm not saying smacking kids should be the default punishment. But we've all been around kids out in town, in restaurants, on public transport etc...and from what i've seen I can absolutely see their being situations where children aren't going to respond to caring/negotiating tactics. I've also heard many, many stories from friends and colleagues about their kids where they've reprimanded them for bad behaviour and explained to them the potential consquences and the kids have just carried on anyway as they aren't able to think so far ahead as to fully consider those consequences. I guess my issue is more that i'm uncomfortable with the government dictacting too much of how a parent can raise their child. Hate speech is now a criminal offence (despite it being very vague in what constitutes hate speech), how long before parents are told they can't use harsh language with their child?
  24. See if there were more guns, that wouldn't have happened. Erm... Just read it - no charges as it was accidental??? Surely that's manslaughter at the very least???
  25. I don't have kids, but you cannot seriously tell me that you don't believe that situations arise where they're still so young that they don't properly understand consequences to their actions and aren't able to use logic to reason that if they act like A they won't get B. Every child is different. Maybe a lot would respond to different techniques, but a lot also wouldn't and there is my point - it should be up the to the parent of the child to decide what is necessary. At no point have I said it should be the first port of call, it absolutely should be the last resort.
