Wish we had JWP on the edge of the box on those situations.... Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

**** sake, tadic and Redmond on the wrong wings again....WHY are managers so obsessed with playing players than can't score but can cross on their weaker flank so that they can never get an early ball in? Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

Hopefully this is Redmond on the right and Tadic on the left to get early balls into the box for Austin to attack. Redmond has actually looked very good when played out wide right and given the freedom to run to the by line. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

Phillips, crouch, beattie and camara. Blimey how much would those four cost now at the level they were then. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

I'm sure he's got plenty to say! Will be buying this with interest. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

I find that hard to believe as most betting sites suspend season-long betting when games are in progress.

That is one player...what about wanyama... Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

We should have been able to keep who we wanted and progress, push on, for the champions league. We saw this season what keeping players who want to leave does. Another symptom of the imbalance at this level. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

Saints RELEGATED Liverpool WIN champions league

Depressing. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk -
In that one season yes, we were much better than them. But what chance do Barnsley have against Sunderland, etc. You've also had to go back to 2011 to find an example of a huge imbalance. Don't try and pretend the premier league is every bit as competitive as the lower leagues, or that the corrupt FFP rules don't restrict clubs from ever attempting to consistently break into the top 6. Not to this extent. Teams in the lower leagues can progress and become the best in the league from any situation. Once in the prem you will never get anywhere close to being the best. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

Completely different situations to be fair. Long was in the penalty box at full sprint when he took his first touch. Call it bitter if you like, this is tough to watch and kind of emphasises to me that I am done with top level English football. So unbalanced in favour of the top teams. These fans -who have been quiet and absent during their "dark times" - will never know what it's like to actually suffer following your team. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

Fair enough, not sure what game I was thinking of then. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

The way I'm reading the table is that beating Bournemouth and Swansea could keep us up? Edit; nevermind, I forgot about the Everton game. Though we were on 35 games played. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

Are you sure? I remember seeing Krueger and an Asian chap who I assume to be Gao, but not Reed. Remember thinking it was weird then. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

So should that goal have been ruled out? In the ground it looked like Austin just stood in a single position and it was Caballeros fault that he dropped it. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

Another way or saying it is that reed got us way above our level by finishing 6th. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

Which I have never ever heard of happening before. Loads of times you talk about teams having the extra days rest... Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

Worth pointing out that this was entirely down to the players...
