  1. How the hell can such ugly eyesores which only ever served a practical purpose be listed? Lunacy. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk
  2. Can people please stop encouraging this weirdness. Something actually wrong with this bloke. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk
  3. I wish we'd make the permanent change to the sash shirt. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk
  4. I don't know, I haven't read the whole thing yet! Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk
  5. It's really time the footballing authorities put a cap on agent fees. In fact why not scrap them altogether, stipulate that agents must be paid from the wages of players. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk
  6. Started reading this and it is actually quite interesting. I'll bookmark anything pertinent to Saints that is of note and post it on here. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk
  7. Not sure about that. That seems a sure fire way to end up with an over inflated squad with no stand out quality ala 2005. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk
  8. Getting 2 or 3 years worth of contract paid in one season over and over...genius, really. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk
  9. I never said that we aimed for poorer players - I said it sounded like we made it clear to potential signings that we wouldn't be used as a stepping stone anymore and that might have meant our first choices went looking elsewhere. They may have even looked at us holding onto Van Dijk against his wishes and taken that as evidence. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk
  10. Well then how did you understand It? Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk
  11. What Krueger said in the interview about shifting our ambitions with regards to players suggests we only signed players who were ready to commit long term, which players looking for a platform wouldn't want to do. Hence ending up with players who are limited like Carillo, Redmond etc over the last couple of years. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk
  12. I like Izquierdo at Brighton. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk
  13. What I understand from him talking about a change in ambition and mistakes being made makes me think we tried telling players they would not be allowed to leave if they signed for us unless we wanted to sell them, and therefore we ended up signing a lower quality of player. Hopefully we get back to signing higher quality - the only way to get to a point where we can keep top players is to keep signing them and actually finish closer to the top. 14. Not now but the summer we sacked him I said I'd be happy to give him another season, unless we were down the bottom halfway through. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk
  15. Two bad seasons after three very good ones. I don't want Reed to go. Wouldn't really care if Krueger goes. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk
  16. If Yoshida is leaving I'd consider Tadic for the captaincy to be honest. It's a myth that he doesn't care/work hard, and he's constantly barking orders at the team. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk
  17. None, I cashed out at £514 for a £214 profit. Annoyingly I nearly did before the Bournemouth game because I was sure we were going to win, and it was £904 then. Ah well. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk
  18. The only realistic ones i'd be happy with are Wagner and Jokanovic, off the top of my head. Anyone else would either be underwhelming or an unknown quantity and therefore a gamble. Just get someone to set us up to attack for **** sake. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk
  19. Had he even met the bloke? How did we go from Pelligrino saying that to setting us up the way he did...? Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk
  20. Wouldn't bonuses and sign on fees (basically a sign on bonus) be exempt from tax? I thought that was a way they got round it all. Or was that image rights? Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk
  21. £20million and they can have him, I reckon Butland will be available for around that plus Burnley have two first choice keepers to keep happy. McCarthy has turned our season around undoubtedly, but purely because he is a competent keeper whereas forster is useless, not because McCarthy is a top class keeper. 22. Really? For me I barely even registered what the result Was, I just know We're staying up. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk
  23. Maybe it's different when you're actually faced with that much money, but for me £20k a week is already more than I could ever spend and the amounts you mention just all blend into "too much for me to spend", with no distinction between them. I can honestly say I would quite happily stay with saints on as little as £1k a week rather than jumping ship. At the end of it all would I look back and regret not having more digits in my bank account or regret not sticking with the club I love...? ...yes I'm a bit drunk. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk
  24. I'm trying to erase everything from this season pre Mark Hughes from my memory. It was bad, really bad, and I'm very interested to see who the hell gives him a job next. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk
  25. Great atmosphere from start to finish today. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk
