Puncheon and Fox were great signings that did more than what we needed them to do. Trotman, Dickson and Seaborne did exactly as we required of them. The rest admittedly were disappointing.

I firmly believe Sims would have made much more of a contribution than any of them had he been a regular starter last season.

Except Stephens was replacing a first team starter which was a problem. Sims would be replacing someone who has played very little and contributed 2 match winning goals in 2 years. And it's not like sims has been unproductive when he's played.

Yes, because as I said, others seem to be expecting us to sign someone as a replacement if we sell Boufal.
You really are the same old c*nt aren't you.

I agree...the post above was the one I was disagreeing with. Almost suggesting we should never offer players new and improved contracts as it doesn't improve the team.

Because he played next to no minutes last season. Sims replaces Boufal, A.N. Other replaces Sims from the youth team.

Basically in replacements Redmond is Redmond, Elyounoussi is Tadic and Sims is Boufal. Have you really got a problem with Sims replacing Boufal?

If he wanted to go that's fine but why did we not wait until after Serbia go out to see if anyone else comes in based on his performance?

Isn't he more of an attacking mid? I know nothing about him really but that's the impression I get from people saying he's a goalscorer.

Does on the line mean goal? Or throw in? Maybe if half his foot was in and half on the line, but half his foot out and half on the line should be outside for me.
