One of them proved this by saying that the only "interesting" player he's seen from us this season is De Ridder. Clearly basing his opinion on our team entirely on the game V Reading.
Why? Losing away to Palace with 10 changes is nothing to be ashamed about. We will not be making 10 changes when we go there in the league, so what is the problem?
A couple of years ago i'd have agreed with you. However Davis has massively improved this season, claims a lot of crosses and (despite the odd misplaced short pass) his distribution is much better.
I'd say Coventry will be an easier* game next saturday, so we want to "rest" players then rather than tuesday.
*I know there are no easy games, but in comparison...
Davis is doing nothing wrong. In fact on the evidence so far, he'd be in the NPC team of the year IMO.
Emnes however would be a great acquisition, if a tad expensive.
No reason for him to be shoved back out on the wing now, his best football for us has always been up front - and he'll perform away from home whilst playing as a striker as well, much like he did last season.
I understood it when we were playing United in the cup and sold out (after getting 14k the week before), but now it is just f*cking retarded.
Thankfully it must have been a small number of people (?) as I didn't see it anywhere.
I'm half tempted to sticky it.
Agree with this - the head of security managed to get 50 free tickets for a Leeds game in the CCC once, which he then sold on regardless of club allegiance.
