  1. Delayed reaction.
  2. Or as some call it, "aimless hoof".
  3. Page 2...Richardson? Time for him to get his first goal.
  4. Really...? It was one chance...
  5. Long ball from Rob Green, shot from Vaz Te, great save Davis.
  6. Kick off any minutes now; http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?35831-West-Ham-V-Saints-Match-Thread
  7. Team; Davis, Richardson, Fox Fonte, Hooiveld, Schneiderlin, Cork, Lallana, Guly, Sharp, Lambert Subs; Martin, Hammond, Puncheon, Lee, Connolly
  8. Good on Adkins for sticking with this.
  9. In a couple of years maybe, but he's not consistent enough at the moment.
  10. I really wouldn't say any of those are world class.
  11. That sentence alone has swung it for me.
  12. Only difference I can see is that their fans would have expected an easy win V Forest, so would have been a sh*t atmosphere and they'd have got on their backs from the first misplaced pass. They'll be much more up for it on Tuesday. We shouldn't underestimate them based on their previous results.
  13. Could this not have gone in either the post-match thread or the thread about Guly...?
  14. With the protection goalkeepers get from refs now, I doubt it. Why? Seems pointless to do this for one game and not another.
  15. Is he not still in charge of the under 21s and only in charge of the full team on a temporary basis?
  16. Not sure about that. The defence was under pressure, yes, but it held firm. The measure of a defence is whether it can keep teams out when there is a period of pressure like that surely?
  17. Similarly, I found cursed betting slips in my inside coat pocket from the games V Bristol City and Leicester.
  18. Stephens, N'Guessan and Forte all did the job they were brought in to do. Hooiveld and Cork have been brilliant - and Guly wasn't even Adkins signing so no idea why you're including him.
  19. Unfortunately with the responsibilities you've listed (family etc) it's probably too much of a risk to chuck away a career you've spent 13 years on to "chase your dream". You say you haven't got the capital to set up your own business? Then in all honesty, there's nothing to think about - you can't do it. Taking out a loan would be absolutely mental.
  20. Sounds like a prediction by Sports Interactive.
  21. Indeed. If we're discounting his penalties, then we have to do the same for all players in the top scorers chart - and I'd wager Lambert would still be top.
  22. The only thing they have to be in context with is the rest of the leagues assists - which shows them to be two of the best attacking full-backs in the NPC.
  23. Now gone on loan to Leyton Orient...I'd bet Yeovil are quite annoyed.
  24. And the whole "civil liberties" thing is still a valid point in my book - but you cannot use the bubble for one lot of fans and then not use it for the return fixture. Despite it being something I think shouldn't be allowed, you have to admit that it worked.
  25. Redknapp being the next manager would actually be good for me in a way. It'd provide me with the perfect excuse to not take an interest in their results (saving me the heartbreak) and I could finally start liking Spurs team without feeling bad about it.
