They've only bloody gone and done it. If I was a postie I would start looking for a job with DHL or TNT.

This is where they map the political parties over time. Note the movements to the right from Labour and the Lib Dems.....clearly moving into traditional tory ground. This shows that I am more in tune with mainstream British politics compared with all participants and as such I am the only true representative. We could just do away with the House of Commons, put me in there and I promise not to take the **** with my expenses. Anyway, got to go, I'm on Question Time in 30 minutes.

Welcome to the 'right' side rattlehead. Not sure about PM, more of a Ken Clarke type figure if you ask me (you work in the finance industry don't you?). I think Hatch is Tone himself, and you can just call me Dave. Wanna be my Chancellor? Meanwhile we can send Daniel 'St George' Hannan out to entertain the Europeans

Considering recent polls, I am bang on the money unlike the rest of you on here. Johnny B = always outnumbered, never outgunned.
-
You're not quite on your own, although you're a bit too much of a libertarian for my liking. As it happens, you are less of a fascist than you (and others) make out. I need some communists, fascists and conseravtive liberalists as I am running out of space with all of the liberal lefties (and BTF hasn't posted yet!).

Probably explains the lack of balanced debate
-
So what you are saying is that you're as balanced as I am, just slightly misinformed
-
OK, we've got..... Anymore for any more?
-
Well, since you asked....see below OK, good old Johnny B is almost slap bang in the middle which means I am able to take pot shots at anyone whenever I like. So come on, if everyone completes the survey, we can all see where we are coming from. I will update the above diagram and we can look at the political map of SWF.
-
I am not sure about that.... as many of them believe in nationalism and state intervention, therefore many of them would be in the bottom left segment.
-
Supercar looks. Should sell well.

I don't think it is that simple. This map for me sums up the political spectrum. So you can be on the right and be a fan of "convervative liberalism"

£20k-£30k a year is not having 'wealth'. £20k is the median salary in the UK (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/8151355.stm) Considering 50% of the working population earn more than this (by definition), it is hardly a case of looking after the priveledged few.

So, which one is the best?

...and thats the tax on his earnings and employment. If we consider the money he made at the Bank, then this would have contributed to profits and/or dividends at some point which would have also been taxed, so his total contribution would have been far higher. So as for society, he contributes more than his fair share. What irks me is how the socialists only seem to consider non-financial contributions to society when financial contributions are just as valid as someone does have to pay for it all at the end of the day. I liken it to a family household. The father goes out to work to earn money to pay the bills and the mother looks after the children and keeps the home. In this scenario, neither contribution is less valid and in fact it is both contributions that leads to a steady and balanced household. A balanced society is no different IMO

That's if they are not brought to their knees in the before hand.

But the sabre rattling is causing a mass defection of business customers (an area where the RM makes the most profit). The CWU as a result are actually making it less possible for the RM to meet their demands by the threat of or actual strike action. You could call it cutting off your nose to spite your face.
-
Sorry, I meant worst prepared and as such we will be feeling the pain a lot longer. Ireland, Iceland and Spain aren't in the G20 so are not really comparable. France and Germany, who are the most realistic comparable economies are already out of recession whilst there is no guarantee that Q3 showed any growth in UK GDP.

If you like to tell me which bit you were supposed to bold, I could then read your reply in the right context and then perhaps provide a response.

There are a few localised postal services. I believe there is one in Plymouth which operates in three PL postcodes. In London, it would be easier to launch a rival.

The increased use of communications technology is undoubtedly having an effect on the RM. However, with competition in the market place, mail volumes and hence revenues are falling even further. The RM HAVE to modernise. So my advice is that the posties have to accept change - there is no other way. Having said that, there are serious structural issues in the industry. A business can negotiate its postal rates with DHL or TNT, however the RM are not allowed to negotiate. The RM cannot compete on price so the Government / Regulators need to do something to enable a level playing field. So to start with, the CWU WITH RM Management should be lobbying government and the postal regulator to enable fair competition, because without it the RM is in serious trouble. Instead, the CWU choose to pick the wrong fight with the wrong people at the wrong time........which will ultimately result in the wrong outcome. The CWU and their strikes have forced otherwise loyal business mailers to look elsewhere and as a result they are now switching in their droves. If they are ultimately happy with the service and price they are getting from alternative suppliers, then it will be very difficult for the RM to get them back. So the CWU is making the problem worse, not better. Bloody idiots.
