Been trying since 8.30 and only now is the 01271 number ringing (rather than engaged). Hope I get a ticket, but as insurance I bought 2 in the Carlisle end yesterday - fingers crossed I won't need them.

Christ...was on hold for 5 mins listening to the music, then the "operators are busy" message came on and they cut me off.

I was ringing for 10 mins and kept getting the "all operators are busy" message, but on the 100th attempt I'm now just hearing the lift music, so I assume that I am in a queue?? I hope it is right for me to hang on rather than dial again??

Even if allowed, why would Sky want to spend money on the extra football games? I would think that most people with Setanta would already have Sky Sports, so not like Sky would get much extra money signing up new customers.

....and try and buy your insurance through a cash-back website. I insured my car with RAC Direct last year through Quidco, and this reduced the price down to £300 after the £70 cash back, which was cheaper than any quote on comparison websites. Money Saving Expert website has a good article on how to get the best quote. Might take a little while to go through all the steps, but can end up saving hundreds of pounds. The cash back does take a few months to come through, but it does get paid eventually. Also got free breakdown cover when insuring with RAC, which saves more money if you pay for this separately.

One of my best mates is an administrator, and I can confirm they normally make sure the bank gets their money, take as much as they can in fees and then sod the rest. I'm guessing much of the money fans are giving to the club is effectively going straight into the pockets of BT.

I work in an office and in the mens toilets on my floor there are 4 urinals and 4 traps and there are always plenty of each free (there aren't too many of us up here). So why last week does some guy p1ss all over the toilet seat and leave it there rather than go and use a urinal?? Makes me mad. As far as I'm concerned if you're a bloke a need a p1ss use the urinal. In my opinion there are no valid reasons why a bloke should use a trap and stand up for a wee, and anyone who does has something to hide. Is it very small? Does it smell? Is it a funny shape? Anyone able to tell me why you would stand for a wee in a trap rather than use the urinal?
