From a Poopey fan, almost funny;)...... According to the Cork Observer 'we can today reveal the true identity of the potential new owners of Portsmouth Football Club . A spokesperson for the O'Naire family has confirmed that Billy O'Naire and his siblings Trilli and Milly are currently in talks with the English Premier League Club , included in these talks there is two American business men , though not named , are rumoured to be Richard Lyst , Rich to close friends and Russian born Ivor Loadakash . The spokesperson when asked would the O'Naires have any problems passing the Premier Leagues Fit and Proper Test , replied with ' no problems ,Billy is Proper Irish and his two daughters are well fit ' Billy O'Naire is a very avid follower of football and was over heard this weekend commenting on this weekends cup match that even if Portsmouth were to lose , with his guidance and wealth he can see Portsmouth having many years of success in the Gaellic Cup .

I'd hardly say I was eccentric:confused:. The pointers were all there for them to be wound up. The only thing that would of saved them, was to do a deal with HMRC. FACT, HMRC WANTED them wound up, the only reason they weren't, was that the Registrar, decided (because of jobs involved), that the club prove they were a going concern. That will be near on impossible to prove, so they will be wound up. Hardly an eccentric view, or are the QC's employed by HMRC...eccentric.

Even with the wheelbarrow of cash, it will not save them. They have to prove they haven't been trading insolvent, since the petition was submitted to the court, and we know they can't prove that, as they didn't pay the players wages. They are so f00ked!!!!

Apparently it's Terry Venables, but he refuses to pay a pound this time!!!!

I laugh at all the poopey fans on Sky and BBC, saying what great fans they are. One said the whole city were Poopey fans, and that's the only shirt you see around the city.....Dohhh Yehhh!!!! the reason being, that if you wear anything else, you get the sh1t kicked out of you. They will be gone in a couple of weeks, sure as fish smell.

HMRC will be really p1ssed now. I can't see any deal being done, quite right as well, they will be going for the throat.

If, and it's a big IF, if the judge did agree that they are insolvent, and if they beat us on Saturday (which they should lets face it), would we have a case of recourse, against the Goverment!!! Open to the floor;)

See...this is the thing Grrrrrrrrrr:mad:. I heard Alan Brazil say to a fishy type this morning, the he hopes the courts give them a second chance. Dohhhhhhhhh Alannnn!!!!!, this is their second chance, remember 10 years ago, when they defaulted on payments, and went into administration, many small firms lost money that day. Did Poopey learn anything, nah!!, that's why they are in court again.
