Yep, that would probably be my team too. Although, and I can't believe I'm saying this, I would contemplate starting with Holgate at RB again. We actually looked balanced in defence (at long last) with him playing there and, before his brain fart, I thought he looked very comfortable in that position. All we need to do is tell the other players to shout "man on" loudly at Holgate when he has one of his trademark dilly-dally moments and we should be ok...

Thinking out loud, are we playing Smallbone in the wrong position? IIRC, he plays in a more advanced position for Ireland, and has looked relatively decent in that role, and yet here we play him deeper? We've all seen how much better JWP is when he's played in a more advanced position. Déjà vu all over again...?

If we have a squad that is "mentally weak" why didn't Wilcox see fit to mention this in his "we've now got the squad we want, everything is looking rosey" interview that he did with Adam Blackmore before the Sunderland game? Why would he say everything is looking great if the squad had major attitude issues...? If we had fundamental flaws in the squad, then it turns out that interview was a complete sham...

Yep, same red flag for me. At least with Jones's post match rants, you got the feeling he had a modicum of self-awareness of how much of a nutcase and/or out-of-depth he was, whereas with Martin, there seems to be zero self-awareness of how delusional he is....
