  1. That’s a new thought. I guess like black people who get to say the n word amongst each other is not racist the same should be for white people who use the g word amongst each other. I’m a gammon. I never knew.
  2. I’m white . Am I being racist against myself?
  3. In fact just recently an English warehouse worker won an employment tribunal because whilst living in Scotland his Scottish manager referred to him as an “English c***”. He won because he was discriminated against for his nationality. You cannot be discriminated against by calling someone woke, lefty, gammon or whatever. can we agree racism/xenophobia is bad and should be discouraged/challenged?
  4. This is the problem. To me as an Irishman being called a mick is the same as someone from Asia being called a paki, a Jew is a yid, we could go on. The hurler of the term does not get to decide what is racist. Gammon is derogatory as it expresses a term redolent of certain political views just as is woke, lib, lefty. can you not see the difference?
  5. Egg, I didn’t say you did mate. If you read my reply I did state I can take as good as I give. Is “mick” not racist?
  6. I still don’t agree with it and think it stinks of racism but it is your right to protest, of course. Apologists for the booing does bring out the racists/xenophobic. One example being Muckie. I will always challenge those people.
  7. Just like I don’t support mcCleans political stance but he has a right to it and I won’t boo it
  8. JRM, If they didn’t boo the crowd, yes
  9. We’re the England players wearing BLM T-shirt’s? Again mental gymnastics. Booing your own players, pathetic. Boo them for being crap but not for being against racism. What do you think it looks like to the wider world?
  10. I’d be surprised if they booed an anti racism gesture at a football match, yes. Do you have any Chinese friends or Aborigines that also disagree with anti racism gestures?
  11. Pal I can take any thing you want to throw. Lefty, woke, commie. Whatever you like but isn’t it ironic you are doubling down on the racism in an argument about anti racism. I tell you what. I will apologise for any offence caused by the term gammon. Will he apologise for the racism he used?
  12. Strange how none of my comments regarding Gammons, have not been removed but the racist one was. Can you explain?
  13. Gammon = Mick ? I get it . There’s your issue egg. If I get called snowflake am I allowed to make a racist comment?
  14. Wanna call me a Mick again duckie ?
  15. Are you saying its one sided? Booing your own players is pathetic. Racism is pathetic. Its really that simple. It doesn’t need to be over complicated. Did you read Southgates statement? That is what is their intent. That is what I support and I am against racism. Simples.
  16. The mental gymnastics going on is incredible to behold. Ive lived in England for nearly thirty years and have never known a time when the racists have been so emboldened. I haven’t really experienced overt xenophobia bar the odd casual, ignorant comments but it seems more out in the open now and the apologists fall over themselves to excuse it. Duckie called me a Mick tonight in the name of easy banter equating it with being called a gammon as if gammons are a race or nationality. Being insulted is not an excuse for racism/xenophobia. Can’t see the difference and thats where the racism is. They don’t recognise it.
  17. You seem to conveniently forget that the boos were drowned out by the majority in the ground so that must mean they all agree with BLMs political goals as opposed to realising what the real purpose of the booing was.
  18. Fine, disapproval of BLM is warranted, booing your own players for an anti racism gesture is pathetic.
  19. If a black person is booing an anti racism gesture in a football ground I’d be very surprised yes.
  20. Certainly when the gammons stop referring to everyone who challenges them lefty, Marxist, woke, snowflake, remoaners. I’ll never apologise to racist apologists. That’s what people who boo an anti-racist gesture are, racists. Just because you say you aren’t doesn’t mean you aren’t. We should all look within and challenge our own stereotypes.
  21. Whose screaming and if you are not a racist why are you bothered? It amuses me when the gammons froth at the mouth. Its the gammons who seem to be the ones who are always under siege isn’t it. simple, people who boo an anti racism gesture are racist. Are you seriously giving all these fans who booed the benefit of a nuanced political protest. No they are racists and the sooner they are kicked out of the ground the better.
  22. It must be nice knowing the gammon kings Farage/Fox agree with you. What is it about them taking the knee that so offends you? I think I can guess. Its always the same argument from the Imnotaracistbut brigade. I took offence at the “should sort themselves out first” attitude. As if white people don’t have issues. Have you no opinions on white on white crime?
  23. Meh!
