  1. Oh yes! There actually might be something in this muffin lark!
  2. HT 1-0 saints! The Muffin chant is making the difference it seems...
  3. That actually made me laugh! Oh dear...
  4. Ah, well in that case I'm all for it. MUFFINS FTW!
  5. I think people are only having a bit of fun, would love to know what its all about though!
  6. I'm confused!
  7. Whats all the muffin cr*p about??
  8. Very overrated player, if it wasn’t for his family connections I’m sure he would be playing for a much lower division club then he is.
  9. I fear that killer will be in and out of the team far to often to be considered a regular (Hope I'm wrong of course). I cant really understand why John hasn't be used more often this season already (hefty apperance fee maybe, and if so then that wont change this season). Davis, Wotton and Perry though could very well be key. Also taking into account that Rudi and Euell will probably very rarely play thats 3 'older' first team regulars.
  10. Quite, nor would a expect anyone to be 'happy' about it, just to accept it and get behind the team rather then turning on them. I'm not trying to be negitive at all, I dont take joy in seeing saints in the state they are in, but what exactly can we do about it? Nothing is the answer. Like I said in my original post we need to ride out the storm and move on from there.
  11. Oh and I call it realisim and not negativity, I agree that we are in the sh*te at the moment (that is in my original post), what I'm saying is that we need to face up to it and accept it (Again that was in my original post)
  12. That’s 8 names from a squad that consists of about 30, and most on that list are ever incredibly overrated or won’t even play a game for saints this season. I accept Killer, Davis and John as good points, but you have only managed to prove that we are indeed a squad that consists mainly of youngsters, bravo ;D.
  13. Not at all sir. In my opinion finishing 21st with our current team shouldn’t be considered a failure at all; in fact I would consider it a huge success. Then hopefully with financial restraints beginning to lift we can move on from there.
  14. So you are saying that we are capable of emulating Hull/ Bristol City or Stoke with a team that consists mostly of kids! Sir I believe it is you that is talking crap, I feel you and people with a similar attitude to yours really need a reality check.
  15. How refreshing it is to actually have some perspective on here. Good point well made.
  16. But in our current plight, how would you achieve better?! That is kind of my original point.
  17. As the thread title says really, I feel that people really need to get over the ‘we used to be a premiership club only a few years back so we should be walking this league’ attitude and realise that we are now (because of a series of circumstances) a bottom 5 championship club. I’m not trying to sound depressing, just realistic. We need to face facts, and obviously there are a lot of people on this forum that clearly are not. People that are already turning on the players and coaching staff, people that for some reason seem to feel we should be further up the table then we are. I mean, what do you expect? We have a team of kids for christ sake. To those people I say – Yes its sad to see our once great club in the mess its in but get over it, we are in a sh*tty situation and there’s nothing we can do about it now except ride out the storm, there’s no good whining about it, we just need to get behind what is left of our football club and support it. If we can get through this season and finish 21st then we can go from there.
  18. Does anyone else see the irony of Y.M.A being on this bag, i think it works rather well for saints!
  19. It all came flooding back after I was reminded. Maybe I had managed to put it to the back of my mind due to some sort of distress induced memory loss or something!
  20. Fair enough.
  21. Well good. Mr Uber-fan, I like that, wish id thought of that as a screen name
  22. The very same tactics that helped us win our previous two games? He simply needs to come up with a plan B that’s all.
  23. Here here. Wholeheartedly agree.
  24. Sorry, but I just can’t think of any good reason to justify booing a team during the second home game of a league season. And if people are still hung up over last season or the one before that then I really think they should just get over it. (Just my humble opinion of course!)
