To paraphrase another poster - As soon as that shot went in, you could just tell we were going to at least challenge for promotion. I dunno why or how I managed to assume that from one goal but it was just a feeling I had.

After Tuesday, I'm more than happy to pay the fiver. I really enjoyed the coverage and Hammond's commentary - He really should have been given Dave Merrington's old job. Tessem is a nice guy and everything and clearly still loves the club but he's got such a boring voice, regularly gets simple things wrong (like saying it was the first time Saints had ever had three managers in a season...Not only is it not but he actually played in the last season that it happened!) and generally doesn't add much to the listen. Adam Blackmore essentially has to act as both colour AND play-by-play commentators.

There's that "they should feel lucky that we are gracing them with our offer" attitude. At least with Liverpool it's justified what with them actually being a big club.
