Admittedly, he'd probably be decent in The Championship. But Manning was the best full back in the league last season.

He gives 100%, sure but so did Moi. So would I if I played. He's slow, always out of position, his crosses rarely beat the first man and often caught in possession. Granted he's got a good strike on him but that's literally it.

Attacking wise, everything you could want in a full back. Maybe a bit suspect defensively but isn't every full back these days? Maybe he just wanted to play for Martin? It DOES happen.

Certainly a decent enough player at this level. But if this is the case AND Fonte is coming back (though even if he's not) I'd imagine we're going to have to offload several CB's? Hopefully Bednerak.

Love Adam. We're very lucky to have him, I don't agree with everything he says but he's become the voice of Saints. A total professional too, you only have to look at Saints 6-1 win over Villa (his actual team) to realise this. You'd never know he was a Villa fan from that commentary!
