You're right about us owing him nothing in that respect however that works both ways. I hope you wern't one of those whinging about Koeman or Poch showing "No loyalty" then.
-
You've never used the word "we" or "us" to describe the club?
-
They don't but when he signed a contract, I'm 99.9999% sure he'll be entitled to a payout for an early termination so yes, we would owe him that.
-
And what about the players who left at the first opportunity despite being a PL club?
-
I know of several lawyers who may disagree with that.
-
I refuse to believe you're not classing that season as enjoyable. It didn't end well and we should have done better but we were brilliant entertainment value that year.
-
3-2 against Preston? The 1-0 win at Derby which was honestly some of the best football we played in those 7 years away.
-
Depends how you look at it. Even our Championship relegation season had some great moments, blooded some youngsters and actually, considering the resources we had and how tactically clueless Jan Portvlett was, we actually played some really nice football. Not that I'm saying it was in any way a good season but there WAS some remote enjoyment there at times.

Let's be honest, last time we had a squad of players who should absolutely have not been anywhere near the relegation battle. A strike force of Crouch, Philips, Ormerod, Pahars and Beattie (later replaced by Camara) might be one of the best attacks to ever be relegated. At least in the PL era. We also had the likes of Fernandes and Svensson whom were both inconsistent but capable of utter brilliance as well as Antti Niemi in goal! That was a team that should not have gone down and that's why when they did, the vulture's swooped down and the team was picked apart. This time around we have a bunch of players who nobody would want bar one or two and some of them actually have Championship pedigree. Nothing is guaranteed but I think we'll fare far better this time around.

Never said I was a fan... It's not bizarre. The PL is a complete dump of a league, most people will agree The Championship is better, more entertaining and has proper fans (with the exception of our patient, understanding and supportive bunch of course)
-
And what if it's the same under Dyche? I find it strange that Jones is being hounded for changing the system a few times when Ralph was hounded for never changing the system.
-
Looking forward to it. The PL is utterly boring, the Championship has much better fans, more verity of games and it's generally more exciting. Bring it on!!
-
What about after2 games when we decide we want Dyche out....Owen Coyle?
-
Everyone has played a part in this. Players, management, board, recruitment and yes fans.
-
Well...They're a business?
-
No other fans are as appalling as ours (apart from Newcastle and MAYBE West Ham)
-
Whoever and whenever our next appointment is... "So how long will the fans give me before they turn on me?" "Well...Erm...Let's discuss your salary..."
-
Yeah one would think he'd start with the player who very clearly wasn't fit the other night
-
I struggled to see any realistic candidate who did have that on their CV.

If he hadn't been on a yellow card from 2 minutes later, that's a blatant booking
-
JWP misses ANOTHER penalty (put in the rebound though). His penalty record really isn't that good is it? That's at least the third one he's missed
-
Edozie is going to be class - Though tbh, I think that's a soft penalty. It shouldn't be overruled though, it should be whatever the ref gave. If it hadn't been given initially I wouldn't kick up a fuss.
-
I very much doubt many teams ever get their first choice manager.

Those two statements contradict each other.
