I have very mixed feelings now about how I want the Saints players to perform. A while back, when I thought we would have four players representing Saints, I was overly enthusiastic. Now, I am kinda wanting the Saints players to to perform well maybe to increase their value, or something else....I'm all a bit vague on it now......I still want Rickie to do well, for sure, but the other two? While I'm still well up for this match, everything has been tarnished for me. At least from the Saints perspective.

Amazing? You are setting the bar way too high!! He is a very good appointment for us IMO, probably better than our status at the moment. Look at the wider picture, the board are clearly not giving up on any idea of us improving in the future.

If I stood in a pub getting drunk and angry then peed on my own shoes, (Yes, this is an analogy) I would expect to take a ribbing. I would not be pointing the finger back at others claiming that THEY have the problem.

I'm sure there will still be some tweaking required in that department, but things look pretty solid at the moment.

I'm absolutely delighted with this appointment! OK, it may go boobies skyward for us, who knows. However, this is a massive statement of intent from KL and the board. A high profile managerial appointment with a good war chest. Whatever happens next will not be for lack of trying. I am pleased with the appointment, but much more pleased overall with the message that the board is sending. I can't wait for next season!!
