I've no idea about that factually but that's how I feel. I think if Saints fans didn't have a bit of integrity about them they'd more likely be big 6 fans and there's some reason, based on some kind of desire for integrity, that they stick with their local team.

This goes beyond Tonda 'getting us there' in my opinion. Of course he did, without question there was nothing to throw away without him. I don't think any sensible person would question that (neither should the players actually). Clearly a brilliant manager and he'll continue to be without the need for spying 'within 72 hours'. But how can Saints FC claim any integrity going forwards unless they fire him over this? I don't think we can. It's sad, I hate it, but rebuilding the integrity of the club must come first in my opinion.

Voted for a reluctant sacking but to be honest there are so many fors/against in my mind. I think he knew, he did it anyway and he was pretty ruthless with the kids about it, but then it was all so amateurish one wonders if he really understood the potential consequences. I can't imagine he's said "And whatever you do, don't get caught." based on how young Will was rumbled. In the end though, he cheated and as much as I'd like to keep him I don't think we can.

Absolutely. My opinion was "Jeez we've had to put this bloke in who is just a lackey as a stop gap whilst we focus on screwing it up again with a smart appointment". But the evidence, if anyone wants to see it, is happening on the pitch. I don't care where he came from, what his rep is, whether he is 'big' enough for us, I just know what i'm watching now and that's good enough for me. I've seen conversations about his status if he gets us to promotion, a bit premature maybe, but let's just say he does get us there: Why would you not give him the chance at a higher level? Yeah, maybe he fails there but maybe he's also a football genius and why would you not give him that chance? Sometimes I think we're snobs as a fanbase when we question things like that.

8/10 for me. 11/10 for effort. I know it won’t happen but everyone should, finally, get off SR’s case and allow them to make a mistake once in a while.

I'm not going to argue with you for a second due to the 6ft 8" thing, but I also thought he was one of the very few that showed anything at all in the season we went down. He was sporadic with his ball possession, but so have many players been at his age. Some get there, some don't. He's one of them, where do you say stop. Other than that, great attitude, needs consistency, needs to fix his retainment of possession, one of those guys you really want to succeed because of his attitude.
