He may have scored a goal recently but I thought he wasn't that great against Middlesbrough. He was the only player who panicked under pressure and he kept just hoofing it up the field all game. I think Adkins can get us a better CB.

Emnes was there only real spark today; fortunately for us he was expected to do it all on his own up top which made it easier to nullify him.

He's top quality. I think we're lucky to have him. His interview in today's match program was pretty interesting.

It was Super Sunday on Sky! Many people who may have gone to the game probably stayed at home to watch that. If you pay £60-odd a month to have Sky Sports you may not be willing to shell out an extra £28 to see another game even if it is the team you support.

One can only assume that the staff at Saints know more about football and what the team needs than you do. Unlikely I know, but it might be why they've got us top of the Championship and you're just posting about gossip on a fan forum.

Richardson was too easily outpaced by their left winger, bit worrying. Seabourne won some good headers but he looked dodgy overall. He did better when under pressure than when he had time to think.

Mine arrived, nice design, but the bestthings about it are the fit and the material. It actually feels 'tailored' compared to many kits that are a weird one size doesn't quite fit all, and it's a nice thick material.

The number Ali Dia wore. Is Souness involved in this transfer?

His squad number was number 5 on one of those videos above so perhaps this is why 5 is available on the new squad numbers list.

At the end of the day, it's just a shirt. It is a pretty nice design and whilst the logo isn't perfect, it's the best striped shirt we've had for 4 years in my opinion. Nothing to get 'worked up' about, but then should we be getting worked up about a football shirt anyway?

Anyone got any pictures of the back of the shirt? I don't fancy paying £3.99 for the player to see it.

Nobody's making you buy the kits. How about you just don't buy the kits for a while? Or not at all?! When I was a kid I wouldn't get both home and away kits bought for me on release day, and rightly so!

I'm not going to check the website. Quite looking forward to seeing it for the first time 'in the flesh' rather than pictures on the web.

Why are they losers for pre-ordering? Because it's not something you'd do? I reckon there's something a bit exciting about just having it turn up in the post not knowing what it'll look like. Let's face it, it's not going to be absolutely abysmal is it? Plus some people buy every home shirt anyway so what difference does it make? And for the record, yes I pre-ordered it

Tomorrow's official site will read 'hot new signing'. You'll click on the news item and it will reveal that we have four new heat presses for shirt naming and numbering. Lots of heat presses= successful club.

Blimy, check out the Guly fan club thread. I remember when Saganowski looked 'pure class', then we gave him a contract. I also remember when Puncheon had an awesome bit of form. Just sayin'. Guly took a bit of time to get used to English football and he hit some good form in the second half of last season. He's a good player to have but I wouldn't go as far as to name him the new messiah just yet!

Maybe you should wait to see the real thing before making that judgement! Sheesh. It never ceases to amaze me how much time people seem to be wasting speculating.
