  8. Been called things that rhyme with banker before but a banker I am not! ;-) I dislike banks as much (if not more because I deal with them daily) than the next person

  11. I can confirm I was INS just had to stop posting after I got in trouble at work after they saw how much time I spent posting on here! Got an email about my membership being renewed, didnt see the point so replied asking for it to be cancelled, alas it wasnt and I was charged anyway (money grabbing barstewards). Logged on this morning for the first time in ages after seeing we had been linked with Shane Long but couldnt see any rumours anywhere so wanted to check on here. Thought I would say hello before I no doubt disappear for another few years. Nice to see some of the old faces are still posting though
  12. Missed the boat on this one, sorry Hamster old mate! I can be followed on the book of faces though if you're in need of any mortgage advice in the future... http://www.facebook.com/findmeamortgage Applies for anyone else interested too. Will give fellow Saints fan's £35 of gift vouchers upon completion of their mortgage/protection too
  13. My old Ginger nemesis! How the devil is everyone? I havent been on the site for a good couple of years. Had to knuckle down at work then switched jobs. Where is Cabbage-Face, Steveo, Scotty, Jilleh and Bates?
  14. 1) Coop Bank 2) C&G Call Centre 3) Jacuzzi
  15. Fook me this thread is still going?!
  16. Haha, in his 'profile pictures' folder he has a picture of 'that tackle' on Vidic which earnt him his red card! Quality profile picture and for that reason, he should stay.
  17. He lives in Fareham?! I think a loan would be better. He did look handy last time I saw him and he is young. We are slowly going back to the way it should be, where we are no longer HAVING to rely on our youth and can afford the luxury of using those who are in the first team on merit, like Llanna & Spider. For this reason, I think a loan to a L2 or L1 side would do him good and give us a better idea as to whether he can do the business or not. However, if we could use him as some kind of swap deal for a striker like Barnard who is proven quality now, then I wouldnt be against that.
  18. Would love us to sign Lisbie. My mate supports Colu so it would hack him off. Lisbie, although 31, is still a good striker at this level. He has scored 10 so far this season and my friend says he doesnt always play either. Would work well as a little and large with Lambert too but I agree with Ken's comment below... Another big lump of a striker (I appreciate Lambert is a hell of a lot more than just a big lump) would be a good option. But to have the choice of a strike force of Lambert, Connelly, Lisbie, Saga, Pato & potentially Waigo (can be used as cover for strikers) would be immense.
  19. You're not possibly suggesting it was another reason other than the work permit are you? You will get hung, drawn and quartered for that in here! :gasp:
  20. Tac-tics went missing shortly after the start of the Swindon game I heard?
  21. Certainly not. That fat pug is his own person. My name is a derivative from the 'Im going to sue you and get the police involved' thread on b-anter from way back when. I dont even know the porker but those threads tickled me. I had a name change for other reasons and yes I was INS. ASW?! Pot.Kettle.Black Stevo, but yes, I did have too much time on my hands, you ferkin loved it though. No, we have a world classed experienced CB from Preston reserves instead. Im actually quite happy with that though for some reason.
  22. While I agree that the matchday experience and atmosphere is something you cannot get watching the game on TV, watching a game on TV has it's advantages, like for example, replays and better angles of viewing. Especially with the likes of Sky Plus now where you can pause the game and rewind etc which is why a lot of clubs scout other teams by recording their matches. So in the respects of reviewing a game, in my opinion, TV gives you that little edge. But I am not saying for one second I prefer watching the game on TV to a live game. Give me a live game any day over TV.
  23. Cant he fook off home?
  24. Sorry mate but why do you think that because you pass through the turnstile your opinion counts more so than a fan sat at home watching on TV, listening to the radio or even reading up on pre-match reports. The beautiful game is just that because we all have differing opinions and views. There is no right or wrong so to tell someone to keep quiet and respect others views is in my opinion wrong. J has his own views which some people agree with and some others dont. Ok, like myself, he may have posted his views on a thread born out of frustration after just losing to a team we really should be beating but in essence what he is saying is right and it shows his passion. I would prefer fans with passion who care and get frustrated when their team lose than fans who politely clap at goals, roll their eyes when we concede and forget about football after leaving the ground. You have no right to tell people to keep their opinions and views to themselves, and in all fairness, opinions and views can be put across in maybe a way they are not meant in the heat of the moment. For what it's worth, I believe we need a minimum of one centre back to partner Perry, two centre backs being my preference. A pacey right winger who can deliver a cross and finally a pacey striker to play alongside Lambert. My choices would be something like CB: JPS / Exodus / Sodje / Whitbread Winger: One of the Milwall players who kept whipping the crosses in? Dunno his name? Attacker: Lisbie (Colu), Cureton (Norwich), Jackson (Gillingham) or Eastwood
