1) Top post 2) WTF is the original poster doing with the space bar?! Was he intentionally whacking multiple spaces inbetween each paragraph to gain attention?!

The "Inform Mark Fry: Lowe, Askham return is unacceptable" thread
Crouchie's Lawyer replied to eelpie's topic in The Saints
Going slightly off at a tangent here but something I am keen to know... Does MF have any duty to secure the future of the club to the best possibility to ensure that administration never happened again? Im guessing it is within best practice to do this. To ensure that the buyer has sufficient funds to not only puchase the club, but with expected income in the future, keep the club running? If this is the case, then surely any bid which contains any of the pratts that ruined the club should be automatically declined due to their involvement and what it will mean to future income. We all know that if they have anything to do with the new owners, the fan base will still remain divided and now a league lower, attendances will be even smaller and there would be a very strong chance we would be in the same state in a small space of time again. -
Am I the only one to think Shearer is being touted as the manager of all managers?! I know his Geordie connections means that Newcastle fans love him, but we love Le Tiss and personally, I would never want him as a manager for a number of reasons. He has no experience as a manager what so ever, and there is also the possibility of him doing a carp job and losing his iconic status amongst fans. OK Keane did it well and stepped up from player to manager straight away, but it is very rare a top player becomes a top manager. Ferguson, Wenger, Benitez etc etc etc all top managers but not top players. I for one prey Saints dont get Le Tiss, Dodd, Benali or Shearer as the next manager. I do not think they will do well. We need a battling manager that will scare the fook out of our team and get the best out of them like Strachan did with our (somewhat) mediorce squad in the good ol' Premiership days. My vote would go to someone like Boothroyd or Ince

Propper lol'age on this one! FWIW, I wash after every time. It's f*cking sick not washing your hands and this is how disease is spread. You may think your winkle is clean, but reality is, it is sat in a confined sweaty area all day. I dont want your di*k sweat on my hands. In fact even if you dont have betty swollox, upon leaving the bog without washing your hands, you leave your c*ckle all over the door, ergo when I then use the door, I am in fact touching your c*ckle. If I wanted to touch c*ckle, I would be a hommer. I am not a hommer so wash your hands you dirty f*ckers. On another point, even if you think your d*ck is clean, would you happily eat a packet of crisps after? In affect you are licking your d*ck! :vom:

The players should fund it from their own wages -

And there lies the other major factor as to why results are meaningless. I dont know if that would be more of a kick in the teeth, having managed to pull of a miracle, only to be kicked in the knuts

Positivity eh? Erm... At least we will walk League one, it will be nice to be relegated to win a few games rather than losing all the time... Oh wait....

I have been saying all along, that we are Saints fans and while we should be supporting the team, we have to be realistic and the results you have predicted above are heavily biased. We will not beat a Burnley team who are very much in the playoffs and fighting to keep their place there. We will not beat a Forest team determined to get out of the relegation mess they find themselves in (unlike our bunch of useless jizz stains who are happy to accept their fate and bend over to take the full length of it). Blackpool have nothing to play for and Forest will quite easily turn them over. And finally, Ipswich have nothing to play for (while it maybe a local derby) Norwich will win this one. I like you enthusiasm, but we are f*cked

While I think it is a great idea, I think the realism of the whole thing is that people will say one thing and do another and if you have been counting the amount of money people have said they would give from this thread, the amount you will actually get if you started asking for the money would be a very different sum. A lot of people will like the idea of it, but when push comes to shove, they wont part with their money. Its all well and good £10-£20 here or there, but the sums you are talking about (while in the scheme of things doesnt seem alot) are big amounts of money for people to hand over. I completely understand your point regarding that if the only other option was no club, what would you prefer, but there will always be people who think others will carry the baton, and I'm sure a lot of the people who clicked on an amount will be these kind of people. People who will think, this will happen without my input anyway, so why bother. I think what you may be better off doing if you are seriously looking into this, is what Ebbsfleet did and market it on a national, or even global basis. The chance to own part of the club. Ok so you wont have the chance to pick the team week in or week out, but you will get dividends which is something Ebbsfleet do not offer. You need to keep the costs per 'share' to a minimum though. I know the appeal to be a shareholder with dividends would be quite high for a lot of people, and a club of SFC's size and stature would be a good investment for the right amount. I dont know exactly how you would set up the T&C's but you would want some kind of clause to protect the club that some of the annual profits would be reinvested in the club rather than all money going to shareholders. I think targeting the SFC fanbase (which lets face it has a core of no more than 20k) asking them to donate sums of £100 upwards will be far less fruitful than targetting everyone and anyone for sums of say £25. Saints would benefit from additional support too. I imagine Ebbsfleets fanbase has significantly increased since they took the route of fan ownership and with that merchandising would increase. This would only further improve should we get promoted back to the CCC and then into the premier league. Thumbs up for trying to do something though, but I just am not sure you will get the results you are hoping for.

Petition to get the players to donate a weeks wages
Crouchie's Lawyer replied to Crouchie's Lawyer's topic in The Saints
I do not claim to be a lawyer, my name is reference to a 'Muppet Show' joke. Just quickly picking up on the point about the fans buyout, fair play for trying but the person(s) setting that up have pretty much taken what people have wrote on an internet forum as gospel and based their whole company set up on this. Yes there is a thread saying how much people would be willing to give, but when it comes down to the crunch, how many of those people would actually do it and fork out the £500 each or so? I dont think it will be that many of them which completely screws the whole business income predictions! Why the person(s) setting this up did not consider this I do not know!? -
Petition to get the players to donate a weeks wages

If enough people pressured them they would. If there was a big call and article in the Echo, they would feel more inclined to do so. -
After that shower of s***e performance today against a team who had nothing to play for, I am calling for the players (and coaching staff) to give up this weeks wages and donate it to the 'Save our Saints' funds. Why should we be donating our hard earned money to pay their wages when they dont even give a s**t about battling to the end?! They earn more than most of us and yet dont seem to care. 1 weeks wages to them is not a lot of money, so I urge you players and coaching staff involved in todays debacle to give up your weeks wages as an apology to the people who pay them and to help save the club you have had a hand in ruining.

Essentially we are in the same position as Charlton were before todays games. Down, but not officially confirmed. There is no way we willwin the last 2 games with the dross on the field that we are playing with. No heart, no commitment, no desire. Even if we did win, we need the other teams to get no points which just isnt going to happen. Forest and Norwich have both showed a desire we lack to get out of the situation they are in. I only hope that now it's pretty much confirmed what division we will be in next year, a buyer gets sorted out asap. Clear all the crap out (including that useless w**ker financial director) and start again. I just prey that the tyre kickers are not wasting valuable time and getting in the way of any possible serious bid.

It's one of those wrong ones, which no matter how much I know I shouldnt, I probably would. She is not all that special, but I dunno, there is just something about her

Would you? There was a program on about her doing up a house last night. I cant decide if I would or not. She is not all that to look at but there is something about her. Discuss.
